the colors that u pick do matter and using makers sim to copics or prismacolors with colored pencils is the best way to go .... renders use that method of going back and forth ..... search up color theory for what colors to pick .. but might be too complex . in that case get a color wheel and pick 2 colors next to each other and the one opposite of one of those meaning exactly across form it on the circle

ive got some allright markers, and when i color with em they come out in diffrent shades. for exsample if i color with blue it comes out darker and lighter . how do you get your colors to look so solid.

@SlinFane prismacolor its a alcohol based graphic marker thats pretty common in the US.

@SlinFane Oh, well if you live in the EU or Asia AD markers and Copic markers are readily available. Both the other markers i named are alcohol based graphic markers and are overall better then prismacolor.
