@pencert The fingering is what's significant about it. Two of your fretting fingers are on one chord, the other two are on the second chord. It allows you to string small chords together without cutting the notes short. It also sounds a lot cleaner and more precise if you do it right.

Metallica was good with stuff like Kill 'em all, Master of Puppets etc. but what happened to them after that? They just started sounding really cheesy. Megadeth however still have the "speed metal" sound like they always did.
