  • That was very cool! You guys did really well that day. Good job. ;-)

    -Ted

  • @SFLRailFan

    THANKS

yah it was a great day

  • @SuperVideosgalore

yah at 1:02 you can see him throw them on the ground after lighting them

  • Hey man, just reading through the comments, and I am surprised that you haven't had the opportunity to cuss anyone out yet! ha ha, great vids, man. Come see me sometime.

  • HAHA

    THANKS

i sure will one of these days

oh btw soon ill have a video of someone running a crossing.

I was takeing pictures for the site and i took a pic of their car, after the train ended they came back and asked me why i took a pic of there car and youll hear me chew them out

STAY SAFE out there elton recently a maintainer working a crossing was struck by a drunk driver

  • I have caught #1159 in another train very recently!

  • COOL

Does it still have an RS5T

  • I dunno, it was trailing behind a GP40. It's in my video "CSX Train At E Blount St. In Pensacola, Florida" type that in in the search bar and my vid will pop up.

  • great vid mike that street switching reminds me a lot of the chicago street switching great sound to man like how u add the scanner in to a few of them

  • THANKS

yah i had my scanner on the whole trip

three train for the p&a sub isnt bad

theres 15 total train aday on that line

  • When does the switch job usually run?

I live in Gulf Breeze, so I love to watch trains in P-Cola!

  • I really dont know when it comes through

    just go luckey thats all

    thanks for commenting

  • OK! You are right about getting lucky though! :D

  • Hey: I live off Scenic Hwy and work downtown. Far as I can tell, the switch job to the Port happens late day/early evening on Tues, Thurs, and Sunday. It's so cool to see a train coming down the middle of the street! Plenty of good places to watch, too.

  • THANKS

ill have to keep that in mind.

is csx still running switcher or are they running gp's now

  • The only ones I've seen are 1110, 1115 and 1159. I think those are all switchers. I've never seen the crew use flares or flags, like in your video. Wonder why they did that day?

  • Flares???? naw in the railroad world there called Fusee

reason they lay fusees down and flag the crossing is its F.R.A. law to flag all public crossings that dont have controlled warning devices like crossbucks, flashing lights, and gates

its an fra violation to proceed through a public road with out warning the public

and csx has a ton of fra violations against them so its no surprise that sometimes crew are too lazy to get off and flag

  • I hear u. Seriously, I"ve never seen it. But maybe in their defense, they always run to the Port during off hours, and the traffic lights down Taragonna Street are rigged to "flashing red" whenever the train comes by.

How often do you get to Pcola! I think your Youtube site is great, I tried to join it as a member (if I did it right!). Keep up the good work!!

  • yah i think on this day one of the sensors failed because the light you see where they stop, flag, protected wasn't flashing.

    THANKS

    glad you like my channel

i don't get down to Pcola often, and i never give out dates or times when ill be coming due to you never know whos on the other line of the computer (hope you understand)

  • Nice catch on the Southern Belle ACes!

  • THANKS

IT was a treat thats for sure

these are the first southern belle ive seen

i cant wait to head back norht to home in a week iam getting sick of csx's ways

    thanks for commenting

  • It was a great trip, hope it will be even more fun when you reutn to the sunshine state... eventhough it felt like the blustery cold cloudy state.

  • THANKS

    YES DEFENTLY

we'll do it again i had a great time rember we still have Deaton Bridge Rd to go to

we got side tracked when that kcs came by and when you lost your binoculars

well the temp was great it was that darn wind

  • great shots and power on each train. the street running was cool too. but that fouled K5LA on the second train gave me chills.

  • THANKS

which train had a fould k5?

  • the one pulled by geep 6127. that thing was squealing big time.

  • YAH

it was foulded but forsome reason i liked that k5

    the k5lla was good and

the m3 on that switcher man was it good shame the crew didnt use it right

  • i forgot to mention the M3. thats a big shock right there. i went on a photo archive site and looked at different shots of 1110 to make sure that was what horn it was and sure enough yep. funny thing is, back when it was in stealth colors, it had a S3L, and now it has what sounds like and looks like a M3. thats a suprise considering what a maintenance headache M horns are and how much they cost.

  • THANKS

    yah really

well if you look at the flickr account youll see if you zoom in on the horn its an m3 i was shock too

hopefulley i might see these units again

    thanks for commenting
