close, Lego men don't have articulation in the knees and only move at the shoulders while the minimates have a balljointed shoulder...dude you gotta go with minimates, you won't be disappointed

I was actually pretty disapointed when I got this set. I found the Sandman to be off (Translucent bits seemed weird on a guy made of sand...), the venom's face was a bit small for my liking and the Black suited Spidey just came off as a tad pointless.

Although the Hydroman and the Spider-Man are great figures.

Oh, and concerning your Hydro-Man, I'd check ebay on occasion, minimates are reasonabley priced there, or a minimate forum.
