As a serial killer she is a disappointment. She shouldn't be up there with Bundy, Gacy, Jack the Ripper and the like. The best serial killers have a sexual motive and are driven to kill by their sexual appetite, whatever their name for this motivation is, whether it be 'violence', 'thrill seeking' or 'possession'. With Wuornos - there was no sexual motive or anything like it. She killed either from fear, mental instability or vengeance depending on your point of view. That's it, that's all.

for all of the things men have done to me and to other women around the world, I understand why Aileen Wuornos snapped. The men wouldn't even give her a fair trial and just think how many rapists and killers she done away with out on the streets. I have a hard time believing that all men needed to be shot- there are those that were only lonley and needed her company- isn't that what prostitutes are there for?
