GUYS If your watching this then this sint my PC now, this is what oi was planning on getting, please check out the video responce from me that is my new rig.
by the way, intel does kick AMD's ass but not by much, and ONLY in their newest dual and quad cores. The difference isn't much, but my friend's comp with a Q6600 (intel quad at 2.4Ghz) beats the hell outta my quad :(
Oh well, a quad is a quad, and I just remind myself that I have 2 of my old CPUs in one package now. When games start using quad fully, you won't need that extra difference ;P
amd wins all the time for price vs performance, but if you're rich as fuck, intel wins. that being said, I bought an AMD as well because I'm not rich as fuck xD (Plus, the intels are nowhere near worth it.)
The Phenom II 3.0Ghz doesn't beat the intel cpus, it's just on par with the intel quads at 2.8-3.0Ghz and usually the intels win anyway (AT GAMES. Programs are a different story.)
The tiny difference it makes is DEFINITELY NOT worth the extra price, I agree.
Because of money issues and i got a new laptop for my birthday i will probably be getting an entirely different PC just wandering if you guys got any suggestions on what i should get my budget is AUD$2000, give or take 100-200.
Amd is cheaper and they say they can't tell the differnece in graphics when they can copmpare them and its also intel is like $900 more than amd for the same but idk.
I kinda want to go amd but amd own ATI but i dont want ati and they might ape sht, AMD and nVidia IDK ill see but ATM probably AMD
Well It's a very budget PC. I personaly.. don't see what kind of game that Comp will run. I won't ask any questions as everyone are asking about my pc..., but anyhow, a good vid!
some motherboards have great onboard sound, this one actually has a very good one, but if you a real gamer, and you like running things fast then your better off getting a sound card so you MB, Ram and CPU concentrate on gaming rather than the sound and gmaing.
Dude, buy the X-540, way, way better. Also, don't buy 7,1 sound, as not a single game supports it. Just buy 5.1. And why the hell al G5? G9 rocks!! xD
TRUE the 9900GX2 are going to be good but im pretty sure when you perchase any 9800GTX it comes with a 90 day step up that allows you to replace your 9800GTX or GX2 depending on which one you have with a 9900 series
I do agree with dmb0389 but be more polite man.Furthermore this is a very nice PC,and I have to say that AMD Phenom is a very powerful processor, with the right motherboard.Good video dude but next time show us your mobo.:)
dude you realy need to look at the designe of the phenom chip and the design of the intel chip you may change your mind....but just from personel experience stick with amd choice is yours
Man...the best part is the 9800 GTX Card...should be a brilliant new PC my Friend! Will love to see some Crysis (with highest settings) videos on your this new PC when you get it all set-up! All the best Friend! :-)
Hey if anything i wouldnt get the Phenom and get a Core 2 Duo E8400 Phenoms are for the More architectual shit like 3d designing not recommended for gaming but thats my opinion just get what you want
i might suggest the razer gaming mice, easier to handle and not as beefy. But overall, thats a fucking nice machine, but the 4 gb ram, is pretty much the same as 2 gb ram on XP, cuz vista takes way more processing power, just to let u know. If u can get XP, wayy better and cheaper. Also, the 600 W might not pull it off, because of the intense graphics its going to need to deliver so give it a try and see and lastly, I prefer Intel over AMD, just better quality.
hey dude, check some processor's benchmarks before going with amd phenom blablba!!! Do u know that the 130$ Core2Duo E7200 is faster than the quadcore9850?specially in games!!so think before u go for AMD!! they make shit sonce 2 years....
ok...for this price...this is amazing...a 7.1 sound card...a 22" Widescreen LCD...4GB RAM (!!!) - ok...the graphic card is the 9er series of NVIDIA - i heard that it isn´t better then the GeForce 8800 Ultra!!! - Is it true? BTW: AMAZING PC!!!

what you have to wokr out is price vs performance.
ATM my AMD phenom II 955 beats the core 2 q9775 extreme about 90% of the time.
And in some place beats the i7 920.
Ok so we have performance worked out, pretty good almost at i7 standard.
Next we look at price. (newegg prices)
Ok the AMD Phenom II is - $199.99
Core i7 920 - $279.99
Core 2 Extreme qx9775 $1549.99
Hmm, major price differnce there, almost 100 for the i7 and over 1300 for the core 2.
Point proven
PBMS123 2 years ago
I never said intel costs less :P

your rig is similar to mine. I bought my AMD quad core 9750 2.4Ghz for a measely $200 AUS on Ebay xD (about $160 US)
Also I got a 9800GTX+ (yes, plus xD) for only $250 AUS (about $200 US)
4GB Corsair 800Mhz ram, $78 AUS ($60-65 US)
awesome motherboard I got for ultra cheap, only $109 AUS (about $95 US)
Case I got for free from another computer, with DVD drives, card reader, etc... Worth $99 in shops even today ($80 US)
All this I bought for $690 AUS ($500 US) over a year ago ^_^

whats the point of the sound card if u r gonna have the 5.1 system, because the 5.1 should be processed thru the amp
grandtheftauto1233 3 years ago
no the card procceses the sound, if i dont have one it could overload the motherboard and processor.
Thats the point of having these things so that the processor and MB arnt overloaded.

Battlefield 3 is coming out end of this year and its Vista only combatiable.
And in the future all games are going to be vista only.

AMD is supported VERY NICELY with most games. Also, AMD is more consistent and doesn't freeze up like SOME graphic cards....
