Sorry, your descriptive phrase is so non-applicable as to be laughable. If this gal was "stiff", she'd never be able to bring off what Bartok wrote so true to the original/written concepion, and with such 'abandon' as required. Her technique is one of the best among pianists in her age-group (22-26). I've heard her Prokofiev 2nd PC, and "STIFF IT AIN'T" !

@janicezany I know right?! I also saw her Chopin 2nd concerto and it's like she takes on a whole new playing style! What a versatile artist.

The phrasing must be freer, more rubato, more musicality; compare this with the recordings of Bartok at the piano, or Geza Anda playing this same piece, and you'll get what I mean

I am not a clasical music expert, but I like this performance. I can see her face she like very much this concerto and the orchestra is excellent too.

@lilpep4ever yea, that's how i feel everytime i listen to her playing with orchestra. she's great on her own tho.
