Actually, the lead singer of Korn, Jonathan Davis, knew Aaliyah was a huge fan of their music, therefore made arrangements with her to do a duet for the "Queen Of the Damned" soundtrack which unfortunately never got off the ground due to fateful circumstances.

Once Aaliyah met her in 2000 through Missy Elliot, she methodically went on talking about stevie wonder, telling Rosie ( the talk show host) that she worship his work, which led her to meeting him at the Janet Icon event at the end of '2000 . Then in 2001, she revealed on 106 & Park that the next person she would like to meet was Sade. From then on she mentioned Sade in all her interviews.

Thanx for this, But in my opinion, the list is a bit off.
Aaliyah was literally obssessed with Sade, lol she used to talk about her the most in interviews from what i've seen.
I would put sade @ 1, Stevie @ 2, and Janet @ 3.
But good list, aaliyah had real good taste in music, her tastes is probly what helped mold her "last album".
