  • I don't like the rimps of this nice ride...

  • How many gazillions of dollars did all these cost?

    I'm guessing hmmmmm $8500?

  • @Hesam0000 $8,500? No way! Try $20,000-$30,000. Depending who you go with that is willing to make the truck easier for a person who's in wheelchair to get into.

  • @joshiesworld Taking the chair out = free Auto-door = $700 Lift = $3000 ($600 used), electronic controls=$5000 Ofcourse most people take advantage of those with disability & overcharge as much as they possibly can. Personally I prefer to get a Honda Odyssey with auto sliding door, install a $2200 side-door platform lift and a simple $1000 hand control. I know this guy won't be able to control the truck at sudden turns or stops because he's not using the steering to stabilize himself.

  • @Hesam0000 Well, you sure know cheaper of things lol. I am in wheelchair, owned two vehicles with equipment, it costs me tons. As I said it depends on who you go with, had mine done from Lexington, KY. Yeah, Honda Odyssey costs me a lot too cause I used to own one, which was my first van then I found out that I could have trucks that I can drive then I got rid of the Honda Odyssey for a Ford F150 then got rid of it and bought Silverado 2500 HD and is still driving it. But it costs so high here!

  • @joshiesworld Trucks have no room and get only 15mpg on the average. A Honda Odyssey EX-L which has a 6cyl-to-4cyl shift gets up to 25-26mpg. I usually take the extra seats out too to reduce the weight. Right now I drive a 1986 Mercedes 300SDL biodiesel that gets 30mpg and runs on filtered vegetable oil. The best package is a used 2006 EX-L with the side-door platform-lift & remote auto-door. The whole thing comes to $12-13k.

  • @Hesam0000 Trucks does have room, it's roomy for me. When I took the silverado 2500HD to Lexington to get equipped with electricity and ramp lift and such, they charges me a lot. Vehicles don't cost tons, no. I am only referring to equipment for handicap. I am just a truck guy, not a van guy. That's main reason why I traded my '08 Odyssey in for a '09 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. They only took driver seat out and fold one of seat in rear (it's 4 doors truck), so a powered chair can fit. 3-seats.

  • @joshiesworld Gas mileage? fillup $120 a pop? reliability?

  • @Hesam0000 its a chevy, go for ever and never stop dead

  • @TheRexx101 The Chevies I've owned went for 100K miles then troubles started, but then I never bought a chevy after 1995. I'm sure they're better now, everything but the gas mileage.

  • @Hesam0000 my dads 71 gmc (makes chevy) get 20mpg and his 03 ford f150 only get 23mpg and the 71 has bone stock 350 cid everything but the custom headers and vacumgauge.
