Yeltsin was not able to rise the economy out of crisis. It was bankrupt.
Putin had an 80% approval rating. He took the country out of its financial crisis and right now the economy is on the rise and the unemployment rate is at its lowest.
I do listen to what they say, and i have not heard them threaten anyone, just the facist Georgian government that murdered civilians in Tshinvali. Ironically, the "democratic" Georgian government idolizes Stalin whose statue is in Gori.

Because Saakashvili made a public statement to negotiate and give S. Ossetia autonomy in return for them to remain under the territorial integrity of Georgia. 2 hours later he broke that promise.

Plus excusing Georgia for starting a "war" with Russia because Georgia invaded their own territory. There was a series of agreements between Georgia and Russia that were in power for over a decade. Russia was pressuring Georgia for years to sign a pack to not use military aggression against S. Ossetia. Saakashvili said why should he sign it if he is not going to attack his own people. I have told 10 times that this attack happened after continuous fire from Ossetian side. Ossetians did not stop firing although Georgia kept silent. Many people were killed.

Russia did not purposely target civilians like the Georgians did, it bombed military bases to prevent the further aggression. If in the process somebody died, Georgia should've thought about it before they initiated this conflict.
