They asked him a ridiculous question, and it would have been more obvious if the same kind of question had been asked of any of the other candidates. What the heck, just about anybody with sensible mind can figure out by now that 9-11 was an inside job.
For now, it would be foolish of Dr. Paul go along with the 9-11 truthers. It would earn the 'wrath' of the Republicans if does so. He has to 'play along' so as not to be derailed off the political track.

Even if Ron Paul doesn't get the Republican nomination he has started something that can't be stopped so Giuliani, McCain, Romney and the others can chuckle in the background while Ron Paul has to answer one ridicules question after another but the warmongering wing of the Republican party is coming to an end and we will be replacing them with Ron Paul Republicans.

Hey, I am posting from a far away 'third world' nation.
I would definitely give my vote to Dr. Paul if I am an American. His idea of foreign policy is very sensible - make friends with others, not meddling.
The way most past & present American leaders have 'pushed around' & meddled with other nations affairs, it would be a very welcoming change for the rest of the world should Dr. Paul becomes President. Only Americans can do that!

I think he generally handled the question well, but maybe he could have responded this way:
PAUL: I'll be happy to answer your question, if you first answer mine. Can you tell me what the FIRST AMENDMENT is all about?
QUESTIONER: Well yes, it's about Freedom of Speech.
PAUL: Exactly! And as you know quite well, my position clearly stated is that I am the DEFENDER of the CONSTITUTION. And NOW you are asking me to violate that trust? Now can we get back to the Original Question, please?

When I see Ron Paul up there, I almost want to cry for America. Why? Because if we elect anyone but Paul, it makes me realize just how stupid this nation has become. Ron Paul won't save America but he is the best step in the right direction we have. Ron Paul is playing politics, love it or hate it, he will support a reinvestigation of 9-11, he has said as much. Wise up people. Btw, this economy is slowly crashing, the FRB is slowing crashing it. It is inevitable that it will collapse. Ron Paul is trying to put that first and foremost at the top of his list, do not miss that point.

If you deny that this economy is going to crash, consider this. We are no longer a creditor nation, but a debtor nation, both national and personal debt. Our savings has gone negative, the good jobs have been offshored. The fed is printing money recklessly to 'save' us from a crash (that they caused). Our standards are being lowered to 2nd world conditions, on it's way to 3rd.
