Nearly every western nation ended slavery before the 20th century, Saudia Arabia didn't finally end slavery until 1968 and slavery is still occuring in Israel and most parts of Africa today. In Africa slaves are used in Diamond diggings, as well in salt mines. Watch the movie "Blood diamond" this is actually happening in Africa.

Nearly every western nation ended slavery before the 20th century, Saudia Arabia didn't finally end slavery until 1968 and slavery is still occuring in Israel and most parts of Africa today. In Africa slaves are used in Diamond diggings, as well in salt mines. Watch the movie "Blood diamond" this is actually happening in Africa.
Europeans have always been more advanced than other competeing peoples.

Also, Europeans never "en"slaved Africans, Africans enslaved Africans, it wasn't Europeans going around capturing Africans, it was Africans capturing their fellow Africans and then selling them to Europeans as slaves. All Europeans did was buy slaves, it was the Africans themselves who first enslaved their counterparts.

Consequently the complicity of black Africans was essential to the West African slave trade. They were not so vulnerable to tropical diseases as Europeans, they captured the slaves themselves then did a "full castration" on the males. Approximately 3/4 of them died from loss of blood. They were used in salt mines and had an average life span of 5 years. Europeans were much kinder than Arabs. And Blacks have had a MUCH better time than they would have had in Africa.
