Great tutorial on doing bat type wings. It's very helpful showing how you build the wing up with guidelines. Maybe one day you can show a video on doing wings with the figure at different angles. Say a side view where the wing on one side needs to be forshortened. I find that tricky to make the wings appear to attach to the body properly when I need to forshorten them. Thanks so much :)

The term for those "spokes" is the fingers.

They are called that because those are bat wings and the ridges are the membrane of the wings enveloping around the bone.

@RebornPhantom Actually most people do have creativity. Most likely you need to have more confidence in yourself. Don't give up! I used to be afraid of people judging my work and I have learned that all that will do is hold you back. (Also don't be upset if what you draw doesn't come out like what you initally pictured in your mind. I haven't encountered an artist yet that had ever successfully drawn exactly what they pictured in their mind.)

@markcrilley As far as the "spokes" in your wing are concerned, you can call them whatever you like, as to my knowledge they don't exist in any real wing anatomy. The fingers are interestingly enough called fingers, though to be technical the part you referred to as the finger encompasses both the finger and the metacarpal. hope this was helpful.

@xxUnknownHaloxx i learned that when your drawing and start to get frustrated just to stop and go do somthing that is the exact oppisite of what you were doing: so if you get frusterated after messing up while drawing, take a step back and go run or clean or anything that makes you get up and move. it help to clear your mind :D
