The economy is in a much better state than when he got in, and he has begun a health care system and seems to be lowering the national debt. When Ike was president the top 1% paid a 90% tax rate, and they still lived like gods. Meanwhile we built schools and infrastructure. Now when I cut into an 8" line to install a fire hydrant, it's really a 2" inch line because of all of the calcification. Which provides enough pressure for a shower, but not necessarily a fire. And we have raw sewage bubbling up in upper middle class people's yards. BTW, yes Bush cut taxes for the rich, but Clinton cut them by more. Deal with that...

I watched a thing on Being the President on the History Channel. Literally, your in a bubble. You can't go anywhere without Secret Service. You can't say anything without having a communications team rehearsing you for everything. So these people telling Obama about his teleprompter you don't know what the hell your talking about. Even with W the communication team controlled everything from what to say in an interview to speech writing. The White is basically a bubble with nice things.

i do agree with the spending cuts..i dont agree how some of it is being done.
why is it in these situations the poor and working class always have to pay?
when are the rich gonna start paying?
when are corporations gonna start paying?
why are the wealthy allowed to horde money while the rest of us have to pay more for gas, more for food, more for clothes?
why are the people that caused the economy to crash not being punished?
i am a democrat and i support Obama, but questions need answers.

Newsflash. The Rich already pay more then half the bills of America through taxes. When are the poor gonna start paying? 40% don't pay income taxes at all. Pointing fingers doesn't solve anything my friend.
Even if we collected a full 20% from the rich we wouldn't have enough money to pay for all these Gov pensions and entitlement programs.
