Ha ha, Nope! You will have an odd looking collarbone for ages. This video was taken two years ago and mine doesn't look much different. Well, it looks different to that in the video, but not that much to when the doctor said I was okay to start driving and stuff again. Takes years to heal completely, and even after that there's gonna be a lump apparently. I'm never in pain with it though. Just looks odd! But that doesn't bother me.

They don't do anything. All they did for me was have a look and give me some pain killers. They said they could do surgery but it'd just replace a bump with a scar. And i'm quite content with the bump. It takes a few years to go down apprently. I think in worse cases they have to do surgery, but they didnt need to for mine.

If you break your clavicle nearer your shoulder the weight of your arm may stop the bone from joining and then you could need surgery. They put a metal pin in the bone and it holds the bone together so that it heals. The scar is about 7 inches long. You can keep the pin in forever or have it removed after 12 months.

Don't let the doctor sign you of until you are sure in yourself that it is healed. If you leave it broken it will cause problems later in life.

Technically that isn't a bump, my bone was cracked in two. They've since moved together, and filled the gap with more bone. and now theres sort of a bump, will take months to go down apparently!
