After watching the fight I have one question. Was Fedor frustrated with AA's superb straight punches and land lucky shot, or did he entice AA into being reckless? I think the latter. AA had a great guard against Fedor's looping punches (Fedors lead straight right hand was not on in this bout) and AA was not for going to the ground. I feel Fedor understood this after the first exchange and lured AA into lowering his guard (infamous flying knee) and dropped him with a well timed strike.

After watching the fight I have one question. Was Fedor frustrated with AA's superb straight punches and land lucky shot, or did he entice AA into being reckless? I think the latter. AA had a great guard against Fedor's looping punches (Fedors lead straight right hand was not on in this bout) and AA was not for going to the ground. I feel Fedor understood this after the first exchange and lured AA into lowering his guard (infamous flying knee) and dropped him with a well timed strike.

Andrei's punches were landing but Fedor was clearly NOT in danger. Fedor has endured far more punishment than a few punches. Fedor waited for an opening because he noticed early on that Andrei left himself open when he attacked. That bone head flying knee stunt of Andrei's just ended the fight early. Every knowledgable/professional fighter says the same thing about Fedor "Fedor is the best fighter in the world" In this case Andrei got false confidence and got knocked out cold with one punch.

Like the guy said watch Arlovski's punches in slow motion. Not one punch landed on Fedor. Fedor wasn't hurt at all. Remember this. The fight lasted 3 minutes. 3 MINUTES. Fedor had Arlovski in the clinch for a minute. It was a short fight and Arlovski got KO'd 3 minuted into the fight. I love Fedor and im not even an mma fan im a boxing fan but, Fedor is the most dangerous man on earth. The difference is Freddie Roach hes a genius he knew Fedor lacked boxing skills he can hit hard but, no true stand up game. Arlovski speed and footwork was causing him problems something Fedor should sharpen up on but, he did time that shot perfect Arlovski shouldve just been patient.

I totally agree with Cothreezy.
I love Fedor, but I think Andre exposed Fedor to be vulnerable to a boxer such as he is. The good news for Fedor is that there are very few.. if any other MMA fighters with the over all talent, natural ability and boxing training Andre has.

when a guy throws a right hand power punch like that andlands square on the jaw you cant call it lucky. Its like saying he got a lucky home run. See ball, hit ball hard, ball goes out. See chin, hit chin hard, Arlovski goes out. I'm not an Arlovski hater or a Fedor fan but it is what it is.

in the post fight interviews u can see fedor laughing when they ask him if he was ever hurt from arolvski. he said no he didn't really feel a thing and he thought he was never in danger.

Well actually none of Arlovski's punches landed. I looked at them all in slow motion. Did you see a mark on Fedor's face after the fight? NO! Lucky shot? What the fuck! He threw a punch to KO Arlovski and it knocked him out. How is that lucky? When you try to knock someone out and you knock them out, how is it lucky? And Arlovski was not picking him apart. Fedor had Arlovski stuck in the corner and throwing knees into Arlovski and landing shots. Remember, it was a KO after 3 minutes.

it was definatly a bullshit knockout. i rewinded it SO MANY times there is no way arlovski was knocked out that easily. REMATCH PLEASE! even though arlovski will just lose again.

That fight does not prove he is the best out there. Yes, he is rated number one, but Andrei was able to pick him apart, but then made a huge mistake and paid for it.

Andrei did not pick him apart. It's true he seemed to dominate but watch the slow mo replays (search the net) and you'll see Andrew barely landed a shot. Fedor is an expert at minor adjustments to avoid getting hit in the face. I implore you to see. Notice how Fedor, who bruises and cuts easily, had NOTHING on him.
