I THINK it has something to do with people with special skills/powers (I have no idea, I'm just guessing out of nothing.) & only certain people know that you have them because you have a specific symbol somewhere on your body that only they can see..? You should look up the actually definition.

Hmmm I never cried ovrer an anime b4 I haven't watch that many series 4 starters. But I must say the anime that made distured and grossed out was School Days O.O! no one warned me, I was just thinkin to my self "How the hell did it come to this?"

Ah, were you kind of disturbed by the event in episode 1? lol XD Kyoshiro is only like that for some reason in the first episode.. He's better in the other eleven episodes, but in this anime, unlike School Days, there aren't two girls stabbing each other. Kyoshiro wasn't really a douche like Makoto.
