1. They made some terrible ports for N64, Dreamcast, PS1

2. They lost inspiration for a very long time (making MK Deception and some spinoff games)

3. The game was really short with limited and meaningless characters beside the classic characters.

4. UMK3 was fresh in my memory, and I would SO put it in my SNES/MAME any time of the day or night!

The only thing I do like about this game is the final boss, Shinnock is bad ass, he's a fallen elder god, although I think they could have made him a little bit more powerful. The other character I really take a shine to is Quan chi he's a deceitful maniac

I wish the new MK had that character against the screen thing. I never got why they took of creative ideas from the MK games. For example MK:DA had the impale you weapon and it was pretty cool, yet MK:D and so forth didn't have it.
