Cool - imagine the military potential for these - having hundreds or 1000's of these very inexpensive crafts surveying every movement of your enemy - + tracking down the whereabouts of certain people.

I bet this one would even be hard to spot with the naked eye, if it was circling say 1000 meters above you - solar powered and with cameras and other detectors.

How much extra weight will this one carry ?

I'm guessing no extra weight, also i'm not sure they'll be of any use outdoors due to wind.

Would never work. There is always wind a certain distance above the ground. It may not make it down to you but its up there. They would fly away.

So you would probaly need to use some clever tethering system. Still it could be invaluable in giving you a quick perspective of the scenario. Where are they and where are they moving etc. ?

I have this crazy idea of an airship battle using rc airships like these, which can carry BB guns mounted under the airship like cannons, and can fire by remote. Whoever sinks an airship wins. But I don't know if an rc airship like this one on the video will even lift like 3 BB guns or more. It may be too heavy for it. :P
