It is possible Meg Whitman never saw the SS letter. It is possible that her husband Dr. Harsh did not tell her about the letter. But Dr. Harsh is a neurosurgeon. It is likely that he can read a one-page letter with understanding and comprehension, and unlikely that Dr. Harsh did not understand the letter.
Ms. Whitman stated in interviews before letter was public that WE never received that letter, suggesting that Nicky had intercepted the letter before she or husband saw it. This is the lie.
The letter hardly proves she lied in that statement. Her husband obviously didn't understand what it said as he gave it back to the maid and asked her to take care of it. He probably doesn't ever remember receiving a random letter years ago. It also doesn't prove that Meg Whitman ever saw it. I'm not sure why this maid is pretending to be a victim and accusing the Whitman family of lying when she is the one who produced fake documents to get a job that she stayed in for 9 years!
Meg Whitman and her husband did not know that the housekeeper was illegal. The housekeeper had a fake Social Security card, lied on the Form I-9, lied to the employment agency, and lied to Meg and her husband.
Also, the Social Security letter that Meg's husband received in the mail stated, "this letter makes no statement about your employee's immigration status." Employers receive that same Social Security letter when their female employees, who are U.S. citizens, have name changes.
