  • A horse that stops when you come of is what i would call a good horse

  • i like the horse who stops when his rider starts to fall.

  • well those are just shitty riders...

  • Uh, yeah sorry but most of these people don't even know HOW to ride.

  • it really annoyes me when people say 'all you have to do it sit on a horse and kick it 'it makes me laugh because anyone who rides a horse will know that it is far from it!

  • i love the horse at 1:13...he's just like "oh, did you lose ur balance? oke, i'll wait."

  • 0:29 it was kinda her own fault she was bumping up and down and the horse didnt even do anything xD

  • OMG, I'm cringing for most of those horses. Riders are either causing a fall, ripping on the horses face, or spur kicking the shit out of those poor animals. I've seen many good western riding, just not in this collection..

  • Practically every fall there was the rider's fault, which makes it even funnier to see the horses completely owning everyone by not letting them catch them :L

  • 1:56 was all his falt haha you never pat a horse mid run least thats what i've learned..hopefully he did to. horses are fight or flight animals if you're already in flight you can only move to a panicked flight . its kinda in the rules of common sense XP

  • @LittleMustangMare they arent patting em its their 'go faster' que instead of using a over n under/crop so they can stay more forward

  • @MorganTaylor2010 that still doesn't change the fact that you don't hit them on the shoulders mid run and as i said horses are fight or flight, the rules of common sense still rule here

  • @LittleMustangMare I disagree to some extent many barrel racers do this and have no problems every horse has its bad days and this was most likely one of them. Heck my gelding reacts better to the shoulder then his bum and my friends gelding does better on his butt. Hitting a horse ignites the flight/fight no matter where you do. Just saying.

  • 1:57 that sucks!!!

  • 98% of these riders are horrible!

  • Half the time it is the rider's fault, the other half is just an accident.

  • The girl at :53 could have been easily trampled, luckily for her her horse was a sweetie and stopped.

  • lol 1:57 don't hit me lol (i know he didn't hit him hard but that is what it looked like)

  • @animalluver1021 he was patting the horses neck as in you know 'good job' but like i posted earlier lol its still not a good idea to pat at a horses neck mid run. it triggers the fight or flight instinct and in mid run panicked flight is wayyyy easier and makes more sense haha

  • those little kids bounce really well don't they!!! ha ha

  • The worst "riders" I've ever seen. None of them have any business being on a horse - EVER.

  • 2:27

    That HAD TO HURT!!!!

  • at 0:28 the lady just popped off

  • the girl at about 1:20 looks very inecperienced hahah

  • hey i agree i barrel race and do poles and its not easy

  • that girl at 1:26 is hilarious! almost falls off one time, then goes to the other end of tha arena and does the same thing! LOL

I have noticed that a lot of the barrel racers have their saddle too loose and are leaning too much to the side. (that be right or left, doesnt matter) and the guy at 2:08 is yanking and pulling on the horse's mouth very hard. just turn the horse on a circle and you're ok

  • Lol the one at 1:57 was petting her horse for doing a great job, and it's reaction was: 'bucking her off XD

  • the horse at 0:55 is beautiful..and the rider was so young : /

  • you have only shown western riding and english personaly is allot easyer

  • LOL about half of those falls are because either the person couldn't ride, the horse isn't trained properly, or lack of vet care/checking tack. If people can't sit a hard fast turn, they need lessons or a different event to compete in!

  • @amybabe6188 exactly

  • 0:51 was.......Painful, scary, nerveracking, and me and my cousin screamed!! LOL

  • Thank u people!! Horse riding is NOT easy!!

  • oh my god o:51 looks very painful!!!

  • I seriously freak out whenever I see any of these horses in the vids fall down! Its scary just to think of a horse going down since their legs are so delicate.

  • really funny to watch.. I thick some of those riders don't really know how to ride, but that's an other story! ;)

  • i really love horse riding i do it every tuesday and it is really easy

  • 1:47

    Poor horse! : /

  • Does it hurt to fall off a horse? What's it mean when they buck you onto their neck and then lower their heads. (Any rate I stayed on.)

  • @Susukeyup5555555 Noooope. It doesn't hurt at all :)

  • Ok..what does this have to do with riding not being easy? Yeah..I'm not saying riding is easy..I ride and it definitely isn't easy. But on the video 99% of the faults were the riders faults. I feel sorry for the horses on this video, alot of these people you can tell haven't don't their homework. Thats a good thing about riding both disciplines..for English and Dressage you learn how to be more picky and refine things better and Western you learn to relax and have fun (not sayin English isnt fun)

  • You know what i dont understand is why dont they wear hats?

  • LMAO the little girl who keeps falling off at every corner while barrel racing. Wrong sport one wonders!

  • SPURS SPURS SPURS, all they do is teach your horse is YOU are there to cause them pain and discomfort!!!!!!!!!. Maybe some horse riders should have to be spurred once or twice to see how it feels.

  • Love the victory dance at 2:20. :)

  • 0:51 - 0:54 wow all i can say is da poor horse :( and western ridin is ROUGH why do dey keep kickin der horse wif spurs and goin round a TIGHT turn like dat i mean der a difference between fast and uncontrolable, da poor horses :(

  • These riders got at the very least what they deserved for what they were doing. It is amazing that horses let people within 100 yards.

  • I have to agree with the fact that a lot of these falls are human error, if you horse bucks at a show you obviously haven't done your homework. Good song for the video however Pink is a proud member of Peta and I'm sure they don't sponsor barrel racing.

  • i've fallen off twice, and boy does it hurt. i ride english btw. some of these ppl have no experience when in it comes to riding. they are also very clueless when comes to tacking up their horses. its just sad.

  • i ride english and western and have these ppl dont know how 2 ride and there synch wasnt tight...thats y they fell off

  • im sorry but that lady at :30 seconds is an embaressment to the horse world. if i was a barrell racer i would be pissed to see that. hahaha

  • Its funny how all of the bucking clips were b/c people were wearing spurs way to advanced for their riding abilities and kept sticking their horses with them. They Had to learn there lesson in jabbing a horse in the ribs the hard way :) Also HELMETS ARE A MUST! Good vid

  • it happens to the best of us............ :D

  • i totally agree with the title that its not that easy to ride

  • No helmets! That would be painful lol! I like how sometimes when people fell off, the horses were like "see ya!!!" and just dumped and ran! If my horse slipped while I was riding and I fell off she'd stop on a dime and turn around to look at me, saying "How did you get down there?" ^_^

  • When my friend sw this she said 'These are the people who don't prepare well enough before, and don't have a good enough relationship with their horse to get by anyway!

    Lol, and she's horsey!'

  • uh; i'd really like to point out that all of these falls are the riders' faults. don't blame the horses!

except if the horse slips, that's more the showgrounds responsibility.

  • All I can say is WOW. When it comes to barrel racing you need to know how to feel your horses movement underneath you. I'll bet that every single one of them girls got back on. (And hopefully learned from their mistake!)

  • These were all the MOST supid falls ive ever seen! And really the one with the gray horse and green legwraps

  • 0:27 how...? xD

    good video :D

  • Why barrel race if you can't even follow the horse's balance and motion? These morons only know how to leeeeeeeean and expect the horse to obey each time. It's almost as if they're riding a bike instead of an actual animal.

  • @LitleDusk like, they're horses are barely turning and they are just sliiiiiding off like they're riding on a pole.xD If you're going to go fast like this, you should be able to follow your horse..

  • @devinbriann12 Staying with the horse's balance is an art and almost a science. If a western rodeo person can keep on a horse cutting cattle, which is more back and forth jerking and diving, why not be able to feel the horse turn. Lol, It's not like they change up the patteren for every course. It's ALWAYS the same.

  • @LitleDusk exactly! its like, why would you show in any discipline if you couldnt freaking ride!? and if they cant stay on their horse for a simple readjustment in direction or something they should probably be wearing a helmet, I have a feeling they'd be needing it...lawl.

  • Awesome video !! I prefer a nice quiet hack on my horse but gamers are some of the bravest people alive... the place I board my horse is owned by gamers.... I love to watch but definately not brave enough to try it LOL

  • good video but some of the people who think they are great riders are horribly mistaken . dont ever get to confident of yourself because thats when go wrong are you hurt yourself ! that a few of those little girls.. ? wtf seriously

  • last year i was at the local equestrian fair and i was running barrels on my paint and he started rearing and i fell off and he fell backwards on top of my legs

  • that girl at :28 was the worst rider i have EVER seen. EVER

  • @cowgirlchick7373 i would have to say the one at 1:17, really, twice?

  • @0:20 the same thing happened to me except my horse did a complete somersault. It has nothing to do with good or bad riding, the horse just took a misstep. No big deal. It was an accident.

  • 1:58 looks like me and my horse!! lmao! i pat her for doin something good and BAM! im on the ground! lol

  • @MsMisty21 oh can i just say i was on the ground laughing!, totally something that would happen to me, i just thought it was so funny! "pat pat pat, good girl "and the horse is like ok im done, WAHM!

  • Gonna have to say that I think all those people deserved to fall off.

  • when my trainer fell off the horse fell on top of her

  • At 0:28 that woman is far too heavy for that horse! She isn't using her legs at all and I'm amazed that the fall wasn't much worse. GO HORSE! As for the horse: Good job! Lady: Ummm cut back on those double cheeseburgers before getting back on.

  • HAHAHAHAH 1:52

that is me and my horse right there XDD

like i pat him after he did something and then he would trip and i would go flying or something lmao.

oh how we gotta love these animals

  • Falling is a part of riding, but i just have the feeling these people like the falling part more than actually riding... :P

  • I just love how when most of them start to fall they freak out and grab the horses mouths as hard as they can

  • Wmm keeps shutting down on you? That's why you don't use it. Windows Movie Maker is a horrible program if you're attempting to do anything substantial. Kudos to dealing with all of it's crap.

  • i started at 7,its not easy!

  • lol I find this really funny cuz I have never fallen off a horse in my 8 years of riding

  • @horsesrulzz You're in for a good fall then...

  • @WhiteSheWolf lol i know... hopefully it isnt THAT bad ; )

  • wow. it is seriously not even that hard to run barrels :P

  • umm thats why its essential to wear a helmet ^^

just Yesterday i was riding along and my horse shyed and i tried to hold on and i went strait under her two back barrels and she was on my shoulder and my stomach, luckily No broken bones !

  • ive fallen off and broken my vertebrae recently then i went and bought a horse all my non horsey mates think im mental!

  • some of these ppl just cant ride but others are true cowgirls/boys. i contest my horse and i have only falling once so far in 4 years. im sure theres more to come

  • obviously that arena sucks noodles

  • hmmmm... i know that the barrel racing horses neck rein but i reckon that the riders should have a tiny bit more control ova their horses

but its a REALLY good vid :)

  • I have been riding English (stadium jumping, etc..) for 27+ years- in that time I have fallen off more times than I care to admit, or even remember!! Us horse people just keep going back for more! You cannot keep me off my horses! No way, no how! :-)

  • whn i went horse riding i fell of so much i got a meddle because the horse trod on my hip and kicked me inthe head and i still wanted to get back on but they wouldnt cos i was only like 8 or 9 and they didnt want me to get really hurt but im gonno go back ::)

  • ive fallen of horses b4 and they were only school ponies.

the first was when i was riding a dapple grey pony called snoopy and theres was a bunch of girls playing around with a wheel barrow next to the arena and the wheel barrow tipped and snoopy bucked and my ridding insructer was cacking him self laughing which was really wierd and on that same day i was clipping the back of his rug on him for the night and he turned around and bit me on the back so yeah

  • Este vídeo es un claro ejemplo de lo que se llama "falta de piernas" y "mal asiento".

  • well i think some of those people can not ride to well how can like one person fall to the side 2 times in a row they need there sturps up a bit higher i am guessing

  • 1:57 happened to me

    but i had a concussion

  • right before people go to the barrel they need to cut it quicker and then they wont fall

  • I saw a 7 yro once taht could ride like no tomorrow and barrel raced the craziest paint I had ever seen and she had the best barrel training round that I saw she rode better than any of teh adults I saw and she was 6 or 7

  • Just because they cant stay on long doesnt mean they're bad riders and I started riding at 6 and began jumping at 7 I rode my 1st runaway and stayed on at age 6 and got my own horse at 7 I started training my friends horse at 8 I started eventing my 2nd horse at age 12 oh and gorgeous(dont care if I spelled that right)horse at 0:27 I love grays

  • At a 4-H team challenge I tried barrel-racing with my show horse. In the first class he ran straight to the first barrel but after the barrel he bucked a few times. So I stayed on and got to the last barrel, my horse went crazy bucking, so for 9speed classes, I stayed on. And that was when I was 11 and I stayed on a POA that was bucking like a bronco!!!

  • well than dont talk to me

  • the person thats at 1:13 to 1:37 is a terrible rider cant even stay on for 10 seconds pffff

  • Its a kid! Asshole!

  • ok sorry dont have to sooo rude bout it god !!!

  • Your the rude one that cant see.

  • Its true riding isnt easy, but these "riders" are the worst i have ever seen, Highy Uneducated. If i was a horse i'd buck them off too.

  • no offense but riding hats don't throw your balance off thats aload of rubish and at 0:58, that is a really young child she looks about 8 im sorry but what sort of parent would put there child on a horse like that it's really dangerous, she could of been killed !!!

  • Who cares how young she is! So now its wrong for parents to let there kids learn at a young age?!?!!? She obviously wasnt hurt. And I dont think that the horse would have ran her over!

  • i never said it was wrong for parents to let there children learn at a young age, in fact it's great !!! but at least make sure it's done properly and safely !!!

  • I started at 6! I am now 34 and still going strong!

Ah ah lol

  • they need to wear a helmet

  • Why do we "need" to wear a helmet? Its our choice. And they are uncomfortable, and to big and bulky and throw your balance off.

  • Oh give me a break. Helmets don't throw your balance off. If they did then jumping would be the LAST thing they'd be used for and that's the one thing they're required for in competition. And though you're right, it is your choice, it's much safer.

  • @HunterJumperGal91 i SO agree with you! i always say, " you can always buy a new hemet, but you cant new brain." :)

  • 2:15 haha RODEO!!! lol kool video :))

  • HAHAHAHAHA! That gal at 1:57 was just patting her horse for running a good pattern and he bucked her off!

  • 0:37 Never grab the reins for balance!!!

  • lol, this is awesome!! some of these people need to learn to ride tho, and cmon wear a hat.

  • OUCH. Actually, not ouch that much. I fell off twice (while cantering, not trotting or anything), and supprisingly, it dosent really hurt. The only feeling i get when i fall off is embarresment:)

  • Haha, whether or not it hurts depends on how you fall, where you hit, how far you fall, and how fast you're going because trust me, yea, I've had some falls that didn't hurt, but the majority of them hurt then and made me pretty sore in the morning. lol

  • hmm lemme pull insanely hard on my horses mouth and not wear a helmet...

  • It is stupid when people don't wear a helmet, fall and say "My head hurts". WEAR A HELMET.

  • if you can't ride riding isn't easy YES!!

  • also manche leute sind aber auch dämlich xD

  • 2:21 he's practically standing on the saddle:L and he deserved that, he kept kicking when he seen that the horse was ready fer bolting

  • an old man told me you're not a rider till you've fallen off at least thirty times lol... experience everything

  • It is actually you are not a rider until you fall. Another prhase is if you haven't fallen, you don't ride enough

  • the girl whos horse had the lime green wraps, (the gray horse) i dont see how she lost her balance so much, she was bouncing an awful lot :/ kinda confused me :/

  • I cant wait to start barrel racing next year... Hopefully I can stay on around the barrels lol

  • You know what they say- If you haven't fallen you don't ride enough.

  • my friend said horseback riding is easy and when she went 4 her first lesson she started walking and then she fell off. i laughed and said :" see its not all that easy"

  • I HATE when people say "horse-back riding is soo easy" it makes me so mad!

  • i cant belive they help the man on but then he falls straight off at the next barrel

i dont mean to be mean but some of these people have no sence of ballance or controll

  • probably some of these riders problems is leaning too far up on the horse...xD

  • i feel so sorry for the little girl on the appoluso horse

  • i cant belive how fast some of those horses can go

  • Alirght, I've fallen off too so don't get me wrong, but some of these people DESERVE to fall off! Can they not keep their balance at all?? I know barrels can be tricky but seriously? Wow.

  • wow i guess there really are some bad riders out there....lol

  • i dont mean to be horrible,

but some of those people deserve to come off. what are they DOING?!

  • lol that horse at 29-31 is like "sowrry mommy, i step over u ^.^" lool

  • No wonder they were bucked off!!! they werent even holding their hands properly. im not saying horse riding is easy cause i have been riding 4 ages but if ur gonna ride in those events u gotta ride properly and dont treat ur horse like the big thing that takes u places!

  • how were they holding there hands wrong?

  • awe the litte girl who fell off is cute she just gets right up. good for her :)

  • every single one of those people were bad riders

  • That musta been a bad day!!

  • hahah poor person a 200 i guess he was finished and petting his horse and she bucked him off!

  • clever horses!!!

  • why do they feel the need to flap their legs like their trying to blood fly or summet and dont get me started on their hands.

i fell sorry for the horses but i guess they are doing fine getting there own back haha

  • Really fun!!

  • Wow. A ton of these riders REALLY need a LOT more practice!

  • grr barrel racing lol. I dont mind it but seriously, some people are guna snap there horses legs in half. and it does annoy me how people dnt wear hard hats. i mean obv there cowboys n it is the western way, but one of these days one of them are going to smash their head in, and then maybe they will think its not such a wise option! :)

  • hahaha a helmet for barrel racing? fuck i ride broncs withouta helmet

  • you must be an amateur...most of the pros wear protective headgear; stupid is as stupid does...

  • hahaha i have never seen anyone in cpra or prca where one

  • what do you have vocabulary brain damage?learn how to spell...wear/where..oh where...oh where ...

  • omg i dont pay attention in la call the cops

  • btw...was thinking of bull riders...same thing different animal...safety is safety...you can find several vids online of bull riders wearing them...just think about it, is all us other family members ask who will be left taking care of your wheelchair bound a**.

  • ya but you have a saddle i have only seen one bronc rider wear a lid

  • are you talking about barrel racing? Or eventing? Cause if your talking about barrel racing you are SOOOOO wrong. None of the pros wear helmets.

  • TOO BAAADDD

  • @justin6916 good for you. we'll all be saying I told you so when you die of a head injury :)

  • @devinbriann12 ok :)

  • @devinbriann12 ok sounds good :)

  • That dont matter if you get in an accident. Because when me and my Best Friend jr. rodeod we were at an arena and she was running the barrels and was on her way home from the third when her horse ducked at the 2nd barrel and she wasnt expecting and she flew off and hit her head on the barrel. And she couldnt remeber the events that she had already done. And she had a gash. But now about 6 yrs later she doesnt wear helmets. And they throw your balance off. I hate them.

  • actually they all fall of quite quickly.

I don't know if this all is a amature contest but the most of them can't ride at all ;P

  • That's what I was thinking. xD It's like, good God...the horse turns around a barrel (does his job?!) and BAM, automatic ejection button o.O).

  • Gah! All those Western riders' saddles were like half off when they fell! Don't they check their girth??
