If it weren't for X-plane, the simulator, I would know nothing about any of these principles..X-Plane does an amazing job simulating all of these tendencies.I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about how helicopters fly..I think the simplest way to explain translating tendency is to look at it as a propeller.
