@rycalsto whats interesting is that its only music like this that can REALLY do it, yet you still hear people today saying the same thing to "lady gaga" and other modern trash.
Holy Toledo! That is indeed awesome. That sounds very much like "Mailman Blues" written by Sleep John Estes. I could listen to about an hour more of blues played on banjo. What a concept!

That is an excellent little riff, if you have more post em, i love timey style music mixing with other styles I'm a fiddle player myself I love improvising to all kinds of tunes, keep rocken
That had a really nice delta feel to it, in fact, in my mind, listening to that piece, felt like I was being taken back to the days of when Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Son House, Charlie Patton and all them cats were driftin through the delta playin the blues, and that is most definitely a sweet piece of pickin :)
hahaha this is awesome , you should put up the tuning and tab :D

There is something magical about the banjo. Even though he's playing the blues, I feel good listening to it.

Nice blues. Great bluesy sound. This just helps to confirm how versitile the 5-string banjo is.

Listen to "reclaiming the banjo". We will hopefully hear more of it in the future!
Well, I may buy me the rocking chair, but it would probably not suffice, would it?
Good music, man, and well presented! ;-)
