  • Excellent. THank you!

  • thankyou so much for this tribute to the greatest super hero in history, I'm English and I love america without whom I would never had had a pure classic mythological idol, a childhood hero, Wish the clip had been bit longer including the 90's animated series and the animated films of the 199's superman adventures, but what a great job a great tribute to the greatest hero in history

  • 0:54 Is the gun made out of PlayDO!?!?!?!?!

  • I swear to Bob, if the knew Superman blows, I will kill Bob.

  • Senfeld is a disgrace to Superman. In real life, Superman wouldn't rip him in half, because that isn't his thing, but he'd certainly give him a solid punch to the face.

  • Seinfeld?

  • 27 people have knelt before Zod.

  • KOOL COOL

  • 0:30 George Reeves looks funny as hell jumping out the window here, LOL

  • Joe Swanson?

  • everthing about me is super but I just cant do the flying part:)

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whats that Animation superman that they show. The Animated clips through out the vid that they have Whats it called?

  • @camba100x100 They are mostly from the Max Fleisher short subjects made in the late '30's and early '40's.

  • Ugh get that jew out of there

  • @MrGrevy You do know that the creators of Superman, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, are jews, right?

  • @Rogueman90 So?

  • @MrGrevy I was just saying that with the two creators being jewish, why would you say " Ugh get that jew out of here" Do you have anything against jews? Or do you just not like Jerry Seinfield? I don't care for him, but he is just another big Superman fan.

  • @Rogueman90 I dunno. I guess I just don't like jews.

  • @MrGrevy Why?

  • @MrGrevy Why?

  • @Rogueman90 Lots of reasons I suppose. They seem to be pretty horrible people overall.

  • @MrGrevy How are they horrible people? There are tons of people who are jewish that have provided us with a lot of stuff we use today.

  • @MrGrevy dont fuck with jews they can kick ass when the time comes like world war 1 and 2 so give all jewish people a damn break dude anyway the guy that made SUPERMAN his dad got shoot in a bank trying to stop the bad guys from taking the money so the idea of a SUPERHERO was born aka SUPERMAN and the most badass thing about SUPERMAN and DC COMICS its CANADIAN

  • @HEAVYMETALGODS86feb9 Umm I think jews got their ass kicked in WWII, you historically illiterate jackass! Jews are horrible, neurotic, greedy people who should be avoided at all costs.

  • @MrGrevy WOW im no hippy liberal, but that is a really horrible thing to say!

  • @bigjoemcCOY Truth hurts I guess. Grow the hell up. Effeminate weirdo.

  • It's a bird! It's a train! It's a plane! No,he's....Superman!

  • MORE!

  • That truly was SUPER!

  • awesome tribute

  • Still "Super" after over 70 years!

  • @RadarKat73080 I remember a Mad Magazine issue in which they showed what Superman,Batman, and Wonder Woman would be like if they were allowed to be their actual age. Funny.

  • @sleedolfine15 Marvel's What if also did that in a humor issue. Spiderman wearing adult diapers. Capt, America is a skeleton because he'd be over 100.

  • Superb edit! I cheered twice in less than 90 seconds. Very cool.

  • Superman is Joe Swanson LOL

  • Nice but it is too short. It should at least be as long as the theme song.

  • Very sweet! But the Filmation and new Warner Bros series should be represented.

  • R.I.P. George Reeves and Christopher Reeve

  • @ShitSoda JUST LISTEN /watch?v=RmIKq7tB-Q4

  • disgusting jew nonsense

  • lol super model

    supermarket

i even saw super glue yesterday!

  • cool combo of all superman from the first one on Tv i missed it the old one in re-runs . was so cool

  • cool combo of both

  • Look at that georgeous classic animation. Great Upload. Big Thumb's up.

  • I feel that the clips from the Bruce Timm Superman animated series would've been a nice addition but still great tribute.

  • Hah! You hid it, but that's definetly a little fragment of Lois And Clark at 0:56 (from that theme song too lol)

  • Jerry's dream come true!...XD

    Nice

  • O.O

  • Superman has survived 70 years because, I believe, he is the representation of the inner desires of every man on Earth- he acts out what mortal men have wished they could do since the dawn of mankind.

  • @sonbuhitsunei You´re so right pal.

  • LOL @ spaz Superman at 0:37.

  • 1 of the greatest storys on earth eva

  • nicely done. i love how you put all the different eras off superman in there

  • Long live Jerry and Joe's creation! Next time you make fun of a couple of high school nerd cartoonists, remember that the Big Boy Scout is still the BEST defender of Truth, Justice, (and, besides, the fastest typist at the Daily Planet) almost eighty years after his rocket landed in Cleveland, Ohio's Glenview High School and bounced clear to Kansas! Up, up, and away!!

  • great music cant help it:)

  • 0:40 OH YEAH!!!

    (cool-aid man reference)

  • if you haven't seen the name John Williams a thousand times you must be younger than 10!

John Williams is a musical genius...

  • @xBusNutter 100% agree every one needs to know who he is!!! much better than any movie music out there today!!!

  • @xBusNutter YES...JOHN WILLIAMS IS AMAZING!

  • As Much as I love Daredevil and The Punisher I still Like Superman.. Hes just that all around good guy you always want to look up too...

  • "I SAW SUPER-GLUE!" - LMFFAO!

  • Comment removed

  • Superman is the GREATEST!!

  • Is there a better super hero, or a better theme song then SUperman? My all time favorite!

  • BATMAN

  • No, Batman, and his theme aren't even close! But i do like the dark night though! I like the angry batman!

  • Haha, yeah, I guess Superman holds the ultimate distinction for being the most popular comicbook crime fighter and putting the "super" in superhero...

  • You're right shazam! Even though i don't think he's invincible ( pretty sure the hulk could beat him in a fight and flash could out run him even though the comic books showed each as a draw!) he does everything so well til you have to say that he's the man!

  • Nah, I dont think hulk is a match for supes. He may have the strength and stamina but he doesnt have the durability and speed to keep up. But yeah, the flash can school superman on a race track any time!

  • His voice is kinda screwed up in "The Dark Knight" :'/

  • Great video. Thanks for posting.

The music is awesome. It makes the old cartoons and TV show even better.

  • cool

  • Well done! I like the mixture of content. I have dvd of the ?Fliesher? cartoons from the 30's and they are superb. Christopher Reeve is the man tho. Played Superman and Clark Kent perfectly. Brandon Routh is serviceable but he needs to bulk up a little and play Clark Kent a little more geeky/harmless. Maybe bring the voice up an octave. Honourable mention goes to George Reeves. He was a good actor and played the role extremely well. RIP to both. Thanks for posting!

  • George Reeves is the man, HE played Superman and Clark Kent perfectly

  • I hardly remember George Reeves. I was a young boy when they would play his 50's era tv show. You can see that he was a real actor though, classically trained and I found him very competent. I think because of my age and the way he played the role he seemed more fatherly rather than a contemporary and young Superman. Chris Reeve is still the man in my opinion though. Based on the first 2 movies as those are the only ones I have seen aside the most recent production.

  • I was very young as well when they played the reruns, you can always buy the series with George Reeves on DVD I have the first 2 seasons, my six year old son has enjoyed them more then me.

  • Great Vid....wish it was longer....8(

  • superman + the theme is like damn

  • Great video :) and great music

  • Great compilation of Superman buddy!!!

    Just owesome!!!

  • ultimate theme song ever

  • Superman is badass

  • The Part at 1:11 and 1:12 They Should put in a Superman Movie!!!

  • reminds me of that south park episode where cartman tries to find out who his dad is

  • is that patrick warburton at the start

  • Yep, sure is!

  • @JozTheKing96 Yep, Patrick Warburton it is. Gotta love The Tick. lol

  • 0:26 that`s my favorite part.

  • kronk as superman i never herd of that

    pull the leva super man

    no

  • lol jery seinfeld was in it and that other guy i forgot his name, but he playd in seinfeld too, and other movies such as cosco's new grove etc.

  • Patrick Warburton as Superman?

  • Paul Nemwan was actually considered for what became Chris Reeve's Superman role. There is a great bio (Paul Newman: the Dream Has Ended!) for sale at amazon. Jenifer Demers is the book's author!

  • Pardon me: Misspelled Newman's name on first line!

  • Other actors considered for the role were Robert Redford, Burt Reynolds, Clint Eastwood, and Sylvester Stallone.

  • That would be weird a little bit with Sylvester Stallone not that im critisising but im just saying

  • Same here, I'm a big Stallone fan but I don't think he could pull off Superman.

  • can i say NERD!!!

  • pretty awesome!

  • My favorite movie theme of all time. its still exciting and makes me wish I could fly!

  • there have been some really good actors who have played Superman, but for me cos I was growing up in the time of the first film with Christopher Reeve, he will allways be the Superman thats you belived lived for Truth, honest, and the American way. He was the best may he rst in peace. Christopher Reeve, R.I.P

  • these theme is make me super check superman returnes when he is walking through the bullets

  • christopher reeve is the only true superman

  • @martysnumbaone agree!!

  • @martysnumbaone he is very missed

  • @martysnumbaone Christopher Reeve = OW FAIL

  • @martysnumbaone Reeve will always be Superman to a generation, but my first impression of Superman on the screen was watching old reruns of George Reeves on a local station after school. He was every bit as worthy of the roll.

  • @martysnumbaone I completely agree. When I hear this theme music, I think of the film that came out in '78. It is arguably the best film based on a comic strip.

  • @martysnumbaone Before there was Christopher Reeve, there was George Reeves. Both Supermen in their own right. It is Christophers accident, and his comeback that brings him to the fore as the Best of the Supermen.

  • @martysnumbaone solo cris :) nessuno mai +

  • @martysnumbaone NO FUCKSTICK, George Reeves is the only TRUE Superman.....

  • @CowboyJack44 Kirk Alyn Played Him 1stest!@#$%! U!

  • @howardmckinley2 Bud Collyer played him first, but Kirk Alyn played him first in the live action Superman Serials.

  • @CowboyJack44 No, the only Superman is Christopher Reeve !!!

  • @martysnumbaone What About George Reeves...

  • this theme gets me sssssoooooooo hyped up lol awesome hero a total classic

  • The greatest hero of all...

  • Nope! Iron Man :)

  • Only different point of view. My favourite is Kal El. Superman forever!!! :)

  • Nothing quite like the original superman movie

  • Talking about Smallville...when the hell does he become...SUPERMAN!!! like its been going on for like 5 yrs now. Surely he has to become it soon

  • IMO, Smallville will end before the release of the next Superman movie. Clark will officially don the costume in the last episode of Smallville, and the movie will be a sequel to Smallville starring Tom Welling as Clark and Superman.

  • That would be the worst thing to ever happen to superman. That show has done enough damage to the legend. I hope you are wrong.

  • You forgot to add clips from Smallville.

  • NICEE!

  • wheres superman tas????

  • awesome.

  • wow

  • Nicely done. That was awesome seeing George Reeves and the classsic Fliescher cartoons. (I don't know if I even spelled that name right.lol)

  • cool

  • Superman is so awesome.

  • patrick warburton? again?

  • Yeah, I was only going to post the "Superman Tribute" video, but I wasn't happy with it so I made this one.

  • The reason why I love the Superman movies is because first of all I can identify myself with Superman - I have a light personality and my view of life is a very positive and optimistic "do-it yourself-and-solve-the-problems-attitude" and Superman, like me, lives in the present and is looking forward to embrace the future. He is not a dark figure and he is not a pessimist - like Batman and others. He is a light among the fictional heroes.

  • Are you fictional, too?

Just messin' with ya. Supes is the greatest.

  • Christopher Reeve was the greatest Superman ever. God Bless him.

  • Indeed.

  • Definitly great. Superman was the best. But a Moral caracter like Superman isn't popular in today's society.

  • superman IS the best

  • Ha....aint that the truth. People don't have morals anymore...so in turn they don't want their heroes to have any!

  • So true on the morals thing. Why the hell do you think Marvel turned Spiderman from a loving, devoted husband/hero into a skirt chasing, live at home with aunt non hero/jerk.

  • Isn't popular? Have a look around. You'll see that Supes is plenty popular.

  • sweet good job!!!

  • What can I say? This was super! (Please don't cite me for a lack of literary creativity!)

You really did a superb job the way you got the George Reeves Superman as he leaps out the window to transform into the cartoon Superman so smoothly and seamlessly. It's a lot harder to do than people realize.

  • whos voice was that of superman at the beginning of this vid?

  • Sitting with Jerry? Patrick Warburton.

  • A.K.A. Putty

  • I knew it.

  • This video is definitely super!

  • Super clip!

  • superman is still the hero that i judge all others by. he is what they could be.

  • That was great.......Short, but great :P

  • bad ass vid

  • Well done, man

  • SUPERMAN!!!!!!!!!

  • Thoes Sinefeld and Putty Superman Clips are great
