I guess the shame about how they sound now is that back then, they were really trying to create music that was different to what was mainstream at the time. It was more experimental, more dynamic and much more of a dreamscape than New Normal and Sharing Space. There were a lot less vocals but when Flynn sang, we were enthralled. With alot more to say "politically", I suppose there isn't enough time in a song to really explore and develop the layered entrails of the music. Groundbreaking band...
One of the bes tunes Cog has created. Its a pity they hardly play anything from the Just Visiting EP's these days. Just Visiting is one of the greats.

last song of the set list ,7mins into it ,journeys almost over ,10th time you've seen this song live ,still blows you away ,chills all over ,freeload and joke all the way ,thanks for the memories dude
i was there folks, those early cog shows were something to behold, pure rock...1 year or so after these intial shows they were playing to a packed gerswin room for jvpt2 tour!!!
wow barely a crowd there and yet as much insane energy as they put into all their newer shows! like a few people have already said they deserve every last bit of success they get for that. if only i wasn't in primary school back then...
i wish i was there. not only to experience these weapons first hand with such a small intimate crowd, but to ask that inconsiderate germ loudmouth to exit himself from the premises and take his face for a shit. COG have worked f n hard and deserve every success. oz's best act. BDO!!!

Hey thanks for all the great comments folks, COG are awesome i agree fully.
I think the drunk dude at the start of a song may have thought he was ELVIS, quote"have you met the man, ooh you sexy thing!",walking around like a headless chicken trying to chat up chicks or something.. COG spoke about him later in the set, funny as.I try find the footage sometime.
totally. and what's with the dude walking across in front of the stage mid-way through the song!?!?! the place is empty! unbelievable. those guys put in the hard yards and deserve every success they get.
Yeah man, this was before they made it to where they are today,, even back then you could see the potential for something big about to happen to these guys in the coming years of today.
Fucking amazingly epic, especially Flynn's singing towards the end. I can't believe people were talking/shouting at the start I would be shitting bricks the whole time.
Flynn screaming at the end sends chills down my spine
