Whether it's for driving on a track or on a drag strip doesn't change the fact that flappy paddle gearboxes are made for faster shifting and better performance, not ease of driving.

Btw: A Veyron or a CCX can beat a Porsche (except maybe the CGT and GT2), look a Top Gear's lap times, or lap times from Nurburgring.

It is easier to drive but that's not the reason why exotic car manufacturers use it. It's for performance.

BTW: of course anybody can drive those cars, but few people can drive them fast around a track, even with a flappy paddle gearbox...
