The Filipinos (along with Thailand, Indonesia, etc.) are what is so-called "jungle asians." They are less intelligent than the "east asians" (i.e., Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, etc.), which makes them poor economically, but makes up for it by being more athletic, robust, and having bigger dicks. In fact, most "jungle asians" have bigger and more rugged hands than "east asians" since they evolved to survive in the jungle rather than to think like the "east asians."

I think the filipinos should be proud of Charice. I also think everyone of the filipinos all over the world should support her. It is about time someone from the Philippines gets into the spotlight all over the world. She worked hard even as a young girl helping her family put food on the table. She deserves all the glory. So if every filipino doesn't support her than you should be ashamed of yourself.
HEY all y'all fools! why can't WE ALL just be proud of them?!
I personally don't have anythin' against THEM... lalo na KABABAYAN natin yang mga yan! besides, THEY ARE IN THEIR PRESENT PEDESTAL NOW BCOZ of their PERSONAL HOPES,HARDSHIPS,PERSEVERANCE! what matters is that, A PERSON IS DOING WHAT HE/SHE WANTS AND DOING IT IN A N HONEST WAY! (sana nga lang ALWAYS DOWN TO EARTH pa rin & always remember where they came from)
I BELIEVE THEY ARE OUR MODERN NATIONAL HEROES in a sense...
Why don't we just be happy for those filipino artist who made it internationally...
NOTHING WRONG w/ being a proud pinoy and saying it. If Oprah and David can say that they r proud of this Pinay and Batista and Nicole et al can say proudly that they r proud to have Pinoy blood running in their veins WHO ARE YOU to prevent these people from saying that they are PROUD Pinoys......... PISSED OFF....
I don't see anything wrong if someone said he's proud to be a Filipino or Pinoy. It's not just taking pride on someone else's achievement. it is simply being happy for your FELLOW Filipino who was able to make it internationally or have done something worthy to be proud of. Isn't it just natural to feel proud that someone like charice & others help boost their kababayans morale inspite of what's happening back home. I believe it depends on the person who interprets the word "proud".
PART TWO...........Even Charice makes it a point that everytime there's a chance she is introduce as the girl from the Philippines. Even Arnel, he's proud to be introduced as "from the Philippines" . Look what happened when Manny, Charice, and Arnel became famous internationally, several Fil-Am celebrity suddenly "CAME OUT of the CLOSET" and said that they have Filipino heritage. BATISTA, NICOLE, VANESSA etc... This was unheared of a few years back... GO PINOY GOOOOOO..... DAMMIT!!!!!! LOL
Nothing wrong with saying Proud to be Pinoy.. Other nationallities do that too. Living here in North America, I have notice this so called FLAG WAVING nationals every where. Even both American and Canadian citizens that of foreign origins do it especially in sports. If you're embarrased to call your self a Proud Pinoy.. then go hide and live under a rock. Nothing wrong with being proud of who you are, where you came from.
@PangulongMarcos are you talking about me ? ja ja ja every nationalities will say they are the best in the world even in the world of sports. STU, its not new theories, wars, competitions and even new holy grill. you are the best example of a pockmark guy ja ja ja. How do you define constructive criticism? well in my case, its only hagGAYsteve is jealous ja ja ja if they are not hagGAYsteve they are fine with me. You as Marcos should marinate all the crabs and then cook it with your corrupt self
That’s the problem with Filipinos. They like to boast and say that they’re the best in something, claiming that it is a benign national trait. But when someone criticizes them, even constructively, they get mad and play out their victim mentality. They think the whole world is jealous of them and pulling them down, when in fact they pull their country down with their own bad habits and poor decision-making. It’s like the pockmarked guy blaming everyone else for his pimple.
@PangulongMarcos the problem with phiilipino like you says the same thing all over and over again and corrupt politicians. Hail the ordinary people the Philippines!!!!

@mdsuavejr I think @isartuppa is hating on some fans and not the talents and artists themselves. If, however, the artist and talent chooses to say."Pinoy Pride" or something to that effect, I think they have the right to do so. i hate people saying proud to be pinoy in front of the camera. really pist me off! when will these pepeol realize that charice, arnel, and pacquiao belong to the world now? puro kayo proud, puro kayo yabang....
@isartuppa i love my country and IM PROUD TO BE A FILIPINO to be like them has a talent of themselfz . i love and i proud because nakikilala tayo bilang magaling na mang aawait at pure real talent. kaya nga from the phillipine.. hinde lahat kase same iba iba tao s mundo. nakakaawa lang ang mga poor satin. at ang government.
Filipinos seem to love to boast being the best in something. Best workers, best actors, best artists, best singers, best this and that. We even ride on Manny Pacquiao, Charice Pempengco, Arnel Pineda or any other famous Filipino as the best, using it as a springboard to boast that Filipinos are the best. But it turns out that we are only best in boasting. And the world laughs.
@PangulongMarcos Well I think you have the wrong perception concerning the thought when Filipinos say...I am proud to be Filipino...It is something that you need to be proud of...when another Filipino make it in the international scene...growing up here in the United States..I admire how Americans promote national pride...sorry if you don't understand the rest of the Filipinos who take pride on the achievements of other Filipinos
We call this triumphalism. But is there really any triumph? Even if Filipinos boast being the best in this, the best in that, what proof can they show for it? Boasting on being the best should come with proof that they are the best. Otherwise, the boaster proves to be a liar. Unfortunately, that is how many Filipinos are turning out to be around the world.
@PangulongMarcos Well...it seems that you are well-educated but I can't feel any patriotism or nationalistic pride in you...I feel bad there is somebody out there who is well educated but can't even promote any hope for all Filipinos out there...I visited the Philippines this summer...I am so proud...just the feeling of being in the Philippines...being with the people who are willing to love you no matter what...but now I think I was wrong....because there is somebody like you.
there is no hope is filipinos will not change their mentality...the problem is the culture itself ..culture of boasting..the culture of balat sibuyas..the culture of bahala na ang diyos etc..which obviously you're trying to defend here..again filipino pride my ass!
@PangulongMarcos well..too bad I dont agree with you...there is hope for ALL FILIPINOS out there...from poverty to a successful life...the life of Charice and Arnel Pineda...and all students out there who are studying very hard to have successful life...are precious examples of victories that we need to behold...I thank all the Filipinos out there who are striving very hard to make our motherland proud...and those who are struggling right now...there is HOPE!! Believe coz many filipinos made it!
@PangulongMarcos Sorry... I am proud to be a Filipino...how ironic that you are Filipino...you were born there.. and I hope you have done something to for this progress you are talking about...but the way you make your comments...it seems that you are just one of those you have a corrupt attitude and given a chance to work in the government...you will be like one of those corrupt people in the government.
@PangulongMarcos ,,,, i don't think we are only best in boasting.... well there's a reason to boast anyway....we Filipinos can excell if we want to... these guys do work hard and they succeed... btw you forgot to mention Efren Bata Reyes, Paeng Nepomuceno, Eugene Torre, Pancho Villa, Flash Elorde, Leah Salonga to name a few...
i dont think the world laughs at Filipinos but am sure they admire and respect a hardworking successful Filipinos who brings honor and pride to the Philippines, Cheers
@PangulongMarcos hello hinde mn un pag paroud na tinutukoy mo eh.. proud kse magaling tayo pinoy pag dating sa talent amf.. wag mo isali mga taong walang alam at mga inosente sa internet lolz
@isartuppa I agree. Hindi pilipinas ang binibigyan ng karangalan... pinas has nothing to do with Charice.... It's the world that gives Charice honour and attention. Not the country.
@isartuppa i agree....quite annoying in fact...they only say that when they see that a Filipino becomes successful internationally (their reason is so shallow)...grrrrrr...
@isartuppa bakit mo ba sila pinakikielaman sa mga gusto nilang sabihin? karapatan nilang ihayag ang damdamin nila or else ikaw mismo sa sarili mo nilalabag mo ang freedom of expression wag kang pakielamera!!!
@isartuppa Umm natural lang ata yun kasi xmpre proud ka kalahi mo ba namn ung sikat e. Sila charice at arnel nga at pacman parating cnasabi na proud to be filipino cla. Pati ibang lahi pagmamayabang kung may sikat clang kababyan di ba? Peace ^^
@isartuppa These people does not know the meaning of the word proud, you can only be proud of your own achievements not on other people's achievement.. Do something good for yourself and others then maybe you can be proud of of yourself.
@isartuppa haha tama.. naiirita din ako dyan.. proud to be pinoy o di kya pinoy pride, sna wag na sila mag salita ng ganyan nkakahiya.. Ung mga kababayan nga ni jacky chan di nagsasabi ng proud to be chinese..
@isartuppa yeah..riding in someones else success is no good, i will only say proud to be pinoy if one filipino politician will rot in jail..kill the bucktooth dwarf!
i am just so proud of these 2 increrdible talents that the Philippines has ever had., ARNEL and CHarice continue to showcase to the whole world what Filipinos are capable and good at...may you always be humble...
Filipinos are great when it comes to Music. they are naturally born music genius.

@salamatrodel
there is no hope is filipinos will not change their mentality...the problem is the culture itself ..culture of boasting..the culture of balat sibuyas..the culture of bahala na ang diyos etc..which obviously you're trying to defend here..again filipino pride my ass!
PangulongMarcos 11 months ago
@PangulongMarcos well..too bad I dont agree with you...there is hope for ALL FILIPINOS out there...from poverty to a successful life...the life of Charice and Arnel Pineda...and all students out there who are studying very hard to have successful life...are precious examples of victories that we need to behold...I thank all the Filipinos out there who are striving very hard to make our motherland proud...and those who are struggling right now...there is HOPE!! Believe coz many filipinos made it!

For one to be proud to be a Filipino, The Philippines should be a progressive country through the cooperative efforts of its own people.

@isartuppa These people does not know the meaning of the word proud, you can only be proud of your own achievements not on other people's achievement.. Do something good for yourself and others then maybe you can be proud of of yourself.
