Drew Lachey is a pretty decent singer... he just doesn't have his acting skills developed yet to do a really good portrayal of Mark... its seems as though his emotions are pretty robotic- not genuine and not really trying to convey the message of the character/song.

Drew has an amazing voice but...he's just kinda standing on stage going through the motions like a robot lol. His "I quit" kind of made me laugh cuz he's so stiff.

Iagree. To me seems he´s trying to follow "Matt Capplan´s style", but without the act skills. This was his first experience acting. People says he was a lot better on Spamalot last year.

Jeremy is one of my favourite actors on Broadway .. but now he is back home where he belongs . in his native Canada playing in Jersey Boys ... just saw it sunday .. it was amazing!!

Drew was the worst Mark I've ever seen. They publicized the heck out of it too ... it's amazing that a hack can spend years in a successful boy band and land Broadway gigs. I've seen singers in High School WAY better than Drew. 9-11 just sucked Broadway dry and they started getting desperate to pull people in so they started casting "celebrities". I also saw Scary Spice as Mimi. She was equally as horrendous as Drew Lachey.

Also...Drew needs to work on his diction (in general) and feeling (in general), but especially when he's calling Alexie. He puts no feeling into "I QUIT!" And look at him just standing there with his arms straight down after "So I own not a notion," and look at Jeremy getting into Roger right next to him...lol...it's kinda funny how Jeremy sticks out so much more than Drew...Also Drew is quite pitchy on some of the parts...

I agree. His I quit is just like "okay i quit" not " I NEED TO DO THIS FOR MY OWN LIFE AND I CAN'T SELL MY SOUL ANYMORE I QUIT!!". I think that woulda matched as an attitude. That needs work. He also puts no feeling into it and needs to work on it. He's an okay singer but acting needs work.

Yeah...I don't like Drew at all...he doesn't have the right feeling in his voice when he sings for Mark...Jeremy...he's getting there...he could be a good Roger....still needs to work though...has a lot of passion into his character

Know what's weird? Drew Lachey was WAY better live. Like, watching the video, he doesn't have nearly as much presence as he did live.

However, Jeremy Kushnier is just amazing, I don't care what anyone says.

This is one of my favorite songs! My favorite Roger is Adam and actually my favorite Mark to this day is Neil Patrick Harris...He was phenomenal in the role!

Wow... Jeremy Kushnier is an impressive Roger. I'm surprised. I wasn't impressed by Drew Lachey though. It was alright... the actual character wasn't there though. It was just... blah. I didn't believe it for Mark... but Jeremy brought it all to Roger. Good work.
