I notice that too, but I also noticed this: The Major is the only character who throughout the entire series is constantly happy. Pretty much every other character at some point expresses some kind of anger, dissapointment, discontent, fear, something along those lines. The Major is the only one immune to this. Throughout the entire anime/manga he is ALWAYS happy.

Yeah, but I still prefer Alucard, because he really knows how to laugh and laughing is at least as important as smiling. Major doesn't laugh that much, maybe he's shy? Anyway, I always try to be as true and honest to myself just like Alucard, so I can laugh as sincerily as him! My friends tell me, that I'm starting to resemble him a bit already. Isn't that wonderful? X)
