  • @rz67camera send it to repair, probably a spring is loose inside the blad or something.

  • @cinematicfanatic lol !

buying a hasselblad without knowing about film cameras.

Theyre only one of the worlds best and most desirable cameras ever.

    Expensive too.

    Pretty funny really.

  • this is a mechanically operated camera and one of the best in the market for its accuracy and simplicity, hardly anything go wrong with it, indeed you need to upload a film and go for your first test with it, I am sure you gonna enjoy the out come, I been using the 500 C/M for the last 5 years and it is my best among what I have out of the hasselblad system, two 503CW, 501C, Flex body an d the Xpan.

    Have fun

  • The Hassie is a beautiful camera indeed... but I'll stick with my RB67. Not because its any better of a camera, but because I can't do squares XD

  • whats the fastest and slowest shutter speed on the 500C/M

  • @XitzpatX fastest is 1/500 (hence, 500 series)

  • The 500CM was made from the 1970 to 1996, why is it so hard to find? Its only been 15 years since it was discontinued.

  • I have a 500C/M and a 500C

    They are wonderful Cameras.

    Enjoy them

  • I don't understand the difference between the two knobs on the camera... (?)

  • @yeknom02 If you mean the two knobs on the camera in the video the one in the rear is for winding the film magazine to "1" after you put the film into the magazine. Once you get the film to the "1" counter then you simply put the handle back down and begin shooting the camera. The big knob is for recocking the lens and body. If you meant the other kind of knob you have seen on some other ones they also make a "rapid winding crank" for the cameras too instead of that knob you see in this vid.

  • man i love youtube; thanks for the video I just became interested in photography and Hasselblad cameras and i've seen a lot of pictures of the units but i had no idea of the actual Size thanks!

  • I love how the diaphragm contracts with a delay when you shoot the camera.

    Almost like an eye.

  • Meccanica solida e precisa, alto livello delle ottiche. Nera è splendida. I negativi sono uno spettacolo.

  • does that back shutter thing stay open as long as the shutter release is depressed?

  • I love when you say "beautiful" at 0:28 after the shutter release.

  • why thankyou :)

  • Wow that camera is beautiful

  • Beautiful camera.

  • please tell me why people love it?

Hasselblad, Bronica SQ and Kiev LTT they are the same format?

any way, its just im more of a 35mm guy (dx also)

  • fuck this fetish! Kiev 80 FTW!

  • oral timing.

  • good job

  • This camera is defect. The diafragm is still closing while the shutter makes its exposier time. The diafragm is sticky, need professional repair the complete shutter must be removed because the diafragm mechanism is on the back of the shutter. Wilco Jansen 40 years experience in Hasselblad repair in the Netherlands .

  • @qwilco

    Why the disagreement? :(

Wilco is quite right. At 0:26 you can see the aperture iris continuing to close AFTER the mirror and leaf shutter have opened.

  • @qwilco ouch. Hope the new owner sees this.

  • Sorry it was sold a while ago :(

  • I can see why!

    Thanks anyway :)

  • Hi, is this still for sale?
