This argument is silly. Pride had the best HW's in it's reign and arguably some of the best fighters in the world in other weight classes. Nog, Wanderlei, and Cro Cop are older and no longer in their primes. The same with Chuck.

Shogun is one of the top fighters of the decade. Injuries delayed him early on in the UFC but he just got the best of Machida.

Besides Fedor they had Nogueria who was the best and 2nd best in the world beore and after Fedor. He was a great boxer/amazing BJJ.
