I just found out about this... I am so saddened to hear about this. I really feel for the owner. I lost my beloved 16 year old cat, Charlie, in Feb. 2010. There is not a day that passes that I don't think about him. But, Casper earned his wings now and he is kitty heaven! I agree--he has gone to the big bus stop in heaven! We will never forget you Casper!

I couldn't believe it when I read he. Poor sweet Casper. He is identical to my cat, who went missing for 2 years and seven months. We were lucky enough to get her back, as she was microchipped!

@PunchyMcJudy I completely agree - if anyone read the owner's account of it, they'd know that she was informed, and brought Casper into the house to let him die in peace; she could see he wouldn't survive, but says she was glad to at least be with him.
