thanks for making my comment on the top I have a job right now, as an encoder hopefully maybe I can go back to school again next year I think the greatest lesson I've learned in life is that what ever problems comes just never lose hope & faith. I really like this movie and its songs... I am so happy that many of us have parents who have never made us feel like this. I am one of the fortunate ones. Of course, I made their task a bit easier by studying computer engineering out of my own interest. But they were as encouraging when I was contemplating Physics for a possible future in Astrophysics. And my brother had complete freedom to study law in spite of there being no lawyers in our family, extended or otherwise. And I am so proud that he earns more than me today!

I hope you do get back to school =). Engineering courses are grating and mind boggling that only Medicine and Law students can ever hope to share our pain. When Business and Hospitality courses compare they have the same workload when I complain, I just roll my eyes; seriously.

Words like ' enemy state' sort of defeat the purpose of getting sunshine or rain. India has some good unversities and being Indian, i can confidently state that students here have both domestic and international openings. However, as the song states, getting into them is a question of 'mar mar ke jeena.' Probably the same for Pakistan.Just enjoy the song!

It's not only engineering, almost all the fields in India & Nepal have same structure....If you get 99% ur reward is a watch or else a stick.

im entering college now and i can really gain knowledge in this movie. life is so short follow what your heart says and pursue your dreams cause in the end it is you who is holding you life and happiness. love this movie especially the motivating words that rancho said. ALL IS WELL. and i always thought that suicidal is a coward thing but i cannot judge them because i do not feel the preasure they did.

I am so happy that many of us have parents who have never made us feel like this. I am one of the fortunate ones. Of course, I made their task a bit easier by studying computer engineering out of my own interest. But they were as encouraging when I was contemplating Physics for a possible future in Astrophysics. And my brother had complete freedom to study law in spite of there being no lawyers in our family, extended or otherwise. And I am so proud that he earns more than me today!

@umermasud786 regardless of whether in Pakistan/India or not, when your parents carry your culture with them, its just as bad. Being the oldest child, I have heavy loads on my shoulders full of expectations. Its the culture, and societal expectations that drag you to suffocation.

I can fully relate to this movie the joy the thrill with your friends
especially college life, living in a coop dorm
doing a lot of stupid things with your very bestfriends
unfortunately ive stoped school because of financial problem

i cry on some of the scenes until i cant even stop crying. i felt like im one of them. im sure most of u watched this movie before will got to know what i meant. this really touched me. if this movie release 10yrs before then i should be having a totally different life where i have now. i actually trying to change my life now after watching 3 Idiots. hope it wont be too late. thank aamir khan =)

OMFG. What is wrong with you people?!?! the song ( or indeed the movie) has nothing to do with the Indian-Pakistani conflict. Words like ' enemy state' sort of defeat the purpose of getting sunshine or rain. India has some good unversities and being Indian, i can confidently state that students here have both domestic and international openings. However, as the song states, getting into them is a question of 'mar mar ke jeena.' Probably the same for Pakistan.Just enjoy the song!

Students from pakistan should be banned from taking admission in state & government universities/institutes/colleges of India. we don't need to teach our enemy nation about making bombs thru chemical engineering. besides, cyber war & biotech war are also big threats.
