Todd Bentley In Hiding - DRAGNET

Without holiness no one will see God. No one will enter into His kingdom. Todd Bentley carries the signs of supernatural power flowing out of him, but certainly does not carry the signs of holiness. He would be one of the last people I would call clean, and "safe to approach because of his holiness radiating from him".

Still he might be a child of God, who needs deliverance and inner healing...but definitely he is not the one who has to lead such an amount of people.

Do you know what we are, fellows? A bunch of backbiting fault-finding busybodies! How many of us have felt a godly sorrow for what's going on? How many of us have blessed our "enemy" and prayed that God might show him the light and restore his marriage? I haven't, and I need to repent. We scavenge the Internet to dig up scandals because we have assumed the role of "radical end-time watchman". Once again, I don't support TB and Lakeland, but let's pray for them at least.

Exactly true. I did not cry over Todd and his family although I feel sorry especially for his kids but all those hundreds of thousands of people all over the world who have been deceived have my prayers and especially seeing video's of demonic impartations, yes, that did make me cry. I have lost many friends and contacts and suffered loss in the ministry because I am warning people for the wolves and continue to do so. Everyone for himself needs to be careful not to overdo it.

When I mentioned "godly sorrow for what's going on", I meant the whole Lakeland thing. My point is, there are so many videoes published with a view to "exposing" the bad stuff, which in itself is fine, but many of them smack of "tabloidism", sensationalism, and ridicule. It feels as if people are happy to see others fall and do mistakes. That is NOT Christ-like behavior! The Bible speaks about correction and rebuke, but with a view to restoring those that are off track.

Dear Spirittlevel: The best thing that came out of this revival was the EXPOSING of Peter Wagner and his "apostles and prophets" as being the agents of evil and greed that they are. If someone followed this revival and still attends a church that has a pastor who is a Peter Wagner apostle, that person is deceived on purpose, and is probably beyond any hope.

Seriously this: When you point your finger at something, do you always do it thumb up, index finger out, three fingers firmly pressed against your palm? Most likely your fingers are more lose. Try do it with lose fingers, and move your hand around. Notice where your pinky goes. It's very likely that his hand movements are randon, and until otherwise is PROVED; I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

If you want to do "apologetics", at least stick to clear facts, not speculation.

That doesn't surprise me. Listen, I do not support Todd Bentley, Patricia King, nor any of his comrades, and I think it's important to disclose things. HOWEVER, what I was trying to get across to maxtube22 was simply that I think his/her methods and rhetoric were dodgy. If we know people operate with false doctrine, fine, let's use Scripture to reprove them. But to me it undermines the noble cause of apologetics to resort to speculation and guessing.
