It is good to ask forgiveness for our shortcoming and InshAllah Allah will forgive us. Unfortunately, the spiritual bond between Allah and His man has become a showbiz tool. Can you have a fully dedicated and focused supplication when it is arranged for the purpose of broadcasting? It may be a good show for seeking the worldly forgiveness but for the Divine, you need fully seclusion and a non-showbiz environment. Regrettably, we are losing the sanctity of prayer for the sake of showbiz rating.
