Not a bug, actually.

Originally you could get zapped by the Hamidon mitos in an AE mission, then run back out and contagient infect other heroes.

Rather nasty, really, since a level 50 giving this to lower levels could kill them very quickly.

It's really hard to set up, but yeah, it's a power from Blue Mitos in the Hamidon raid.

It basically 'grants' the target a temp power that strikes everyone around him/her. That grants the TARGET the temp power, which grants it's targets the temp power, ect. It fades after 5 seconds or so.

It's really hard to set up though.

I remember this happening. I was in the zone trying to convince people to disperse so it'd die out. It's an upgrade of the old chain lightning from Hamidon (I9 version), where now it persists until everyone spreads and it can't fire off for a certain period of time. With concerted effort from a few global channels, we eventually managed to convince everyone that it wasn't a GM thing, it was just someone zoning back to AP so fast they managed to keep the Contagion power from a Hami Raid.

The only problem was actually getting everyone under Atlas' Crotch to clear out (a nickname for the area under the giant statue at the beginning of the video, since it's a statue of the giant hero, Atlas, and, well, you're standing under his crotch).

probably a glitch, the hamidon does that sort of thing in the hive zone during hami raids
