Rob- I am blown away by the effort you have put into providing these lessons for everyone, for free. You are a superb teacher and you have great energy. These lessons really help those dreary winter days go by a lot quicker.
rob you are the best banjo teacher out there before 8 weeks ago i had never played an instrument now because of you iv got cripple creek down half speed and a good start on old joe and you ask nothing for your trouble iv a long road ahead to be where i want to be but you are making it alot easier many thanks.

Thank you so much, I'm eternally grateful for this.
I know you make money off of your other lessons you give and this is a great advertising but I know how much work goes into making a video and I want to thank you for your expert teaching. I have learned very much from your great video's
Thanks for all this Rob. It's a tremendous amount of work for a free lesson, and is much appreciated. Quick question, I'm having trouble getting a clear sound with the ring finger pull off. I have my finger on second fret pressed down tight, but still its barely a ting. No problem on middle string pull offs. Any hints? Thanks.
Make sure you pull down instead of lifting up at the end of the motion. It should almost be as if you're trying to push the string into the fingerboard.
@cking191 You are getting your second finger touching the first string there by muting it, practice holding it down and keeping it out of the -way , try pulling off with just the first string fretted and you middle finger up and out of the way you will find it will ring clear
