  • At stewak, yes, this is near franklin basin. How did you know?

  • in my 6 years of riding the trails,,iv passed 4 skidoos that blown up on the trail and last 1 i seen was a week ago...my cat is still running hahaha

  • dangerous thing to do with sled running , lucky snow never stuck the throttle open and sled run you over or suck your arm into tunnel and rip all the skin off arm, or worse, should have a tether kill switch ?

  • awww the roll technique! works very well! :)

  • i know how to get unstuck it is called a ski-doo wide open haha

  • I let go slightly before this happens and I fall off...face plant and the sled goes upright to an idle as if it were a water craft.

  • do a fun thing..... google DO A BARREL ROLL! o_O

  • Is this by franklin basin? close to beaver mountain ski resort up logan canyon?

  • when i got stuck it's no idee to try to roll it over

  • Nice vid, I can't say I would roll it with it still running though. It would be pretty sketchy if the throttle got hit on accident

  • who gives a shit about the windshield =P but i dont think engines are designed to run upside down ^^

  • you are need to turn it off before you do that!

  • EPPPICCCC CRASHHH AHAH

  • regular backpack that includes water, extra gloves, peanut butter sandwiches, place for extra clothes/layers. thanks for asking.

  • or just buy a pro RMK, problem solved

  • idiot ,rolling your sled !

  • Last time I went riding guess what was in the shop? She was a ski doo. The owner said he had to keep in the garage all night to work on it..again. Ski-doos def break down trust me

  • snowmobile looks sad 1:10

  • damage ftw

  • I rolled my 600 XC SP on a hill like that but it was hard packed snow. It rolled over and sat upside down. I rolled it back, and no damage!

  • My uncle rolled his 700 Dragon ... Not on purpose of course but the snow caused the acceleration to be pushed all the way down.. lol.. I watched the whole thing

  • ya thats kinda dumb aint it

  • @zigsinclair

It is actually pretty common, usually it's good thing to pop off the windshield and ofcourse shut the engine before rolling it.

When rolled the snowmobile will be on fresh snow and it is very easy to get going from there.

  • what kinda dumb fuck leaves his sled running when he rolls it?!

  • nice long track!

  • Except the problem is, I don't really know how to ride, like I got 2 left feet.

    I'm a fucking dork!

  • Thats how I get unstuck every time. lol nice sled too

  • When I do that, my sled bogs out cause it floods lol

  • not a crash but a "tip-over" nice wid

  • it looked like it landed on him

  • i'm diggin the windshield

  • Using gravity and leaving it running is a good idea... getting unstuck sure tires you the fuck out!!

  • lol i always take my windshield off before i ride

  • ha ha n Thxs that will come in handy Iam sure!!lmao

  • Yes not go on them to be ruing up side down.

  • your shit

  • if u think ski-doo is shit why do u watch the good sleds

  • "still runnin shes a ski doo"

  • @05renegade600hosdi damn right

  • were is this?

  • Hey Fellow Riders, its about that time of year and I am getting the itch......No Guts, No Glory, No Bragging Rights!!! ROCK ON!!!

  • 93 xlt 580!! Rock on fellow riders!!

  • what do you guys usually put in your back packs and are they a snowmobile thing or are they just a regular back pack

  • matches, camera, extra gloves, toilet paper, water, snacks. Regular back[ack from the store.

  • @whenwillitsnow, hey how did the sled not sink any, or is the snow that packed.

  • @TheSasusaku11 avalanche beacon, probe, shovel and what he said and a snowmobile backpack with an air bag

  • @TheSasusaku11 well..there are a small spade or just a backpack cuz it looks cool :D its true

  • @TheSasusaku11 Avalanche backpack, aluminum shovel, snow probe, batteries for your beacon, water, knife, matches/lighter, snacks, camera gear, extra gloves and touque.

  • I would've shut the sled off first...but thats just me lol

  • After reading ALL of the comments I have come to several conclusions:

    1. Windshield, no windshield... roll the damn sled over! I have used this technique on Revs, Rev XP's, 2004 RMK's, 2009 RMK's. The powder is what makes it possible.

    2. Many people in these comments are showing that they have very little powder experience. If the powder is deep enough, any sled will eventually get stuck. That is if you are always pushing your own limits.

    3. Pick a sled, ride the snot out of it and shutup.

  • AMEN brother....

  • lets change the manual to say hammer it, go as fast as you wanna go

  • @DV8EDDigger That was not stuck LMAO> That was what we call a LEANER. Gettin stuck is when youve just dug a six foot hole, your tunnel is completely buried, and your bulk head looks like it is walking straight up.

  • @DV8EDDigger true thatt

  • @DV8EDDigger

so the windshield will not break?? or what

  • @DV8EDDigger AMEN

  • id say polaris is better mainly because thats what i am growing up riding but skidoo is alrigh. if that sled was carbertated wouldnt it shut off and flood if it were upside down? or is that sle fuel injekted

  • just wondering how you adjust your windshield after that

  • no adjustment, they are snap in/off pressure fitted type snaps, they are made to pop out easily.

  • I wouldn't try that when its running, unless you wanna lose a hand in the track if the throttle pins!

  • yea never thought about that

  • THATS FUCKING DEAP

  • very deap

  • polaris all the way. you can't beat them

  • dont try this if you have a tall windshield or handguards

  • i did this once in snow up to my waist works pretty good but i broke my hand gaurd off

  • nice sled... interesting way of getting unstuck lmao

  • If that was a yamaha then he could never even move that shit! Skidoo is great :)

  • SRX all the way bro!

  • @HawkBum889

he'd really be a loser if he bought a piece of shit yamaha..

  • THATS HOW WE GET EM OUT

  • a polaris wouldn't have gotten stuck

  • Thanks Joe for continuing to defend the skidoo snap-off windshield. And sorry all for not turning the sled off before rolling it over--I know that we are trying to teach the kids safe sleddin', eh.

  • id like to take you guys on a real ride. this is barely powder

  • OK. We're in. Check out my carvin in deep powder video, it was a bit deep.

  • LLOL YEA REPRESENT "STILL RUNNIN, SHES A SKIDOO," lol ..DAMN STARAIGHT SHES A STILL RUNNIN TOUGH SKIDOO

  • dangerous if it had gone forward when u tipped it, would have gone riiiight into yourself

  • now if your not on a hill its a different story

  • ya turn it off. its better to yank on it a little than to have one get pinned and go into a tree. I've had it happen before. not to pretty

  • Yeah.. I would turn that off.. Roll it over and the throttle goes to the bar haha.

  • Turn it off, but they're not so happy to restart, ya know...

  • i was just saying

  • I know, they all just say, i mean Im just sayin.. LOLOLOL

  • Next time you should take off the windshield ; )

  • for the 400th time, ski doo windshield are made to pop off and then be reattached.

  • lol i flip but i bought my dads 94 bravo off him and its i think 250-300 pounds fullly loaded so lol i can just pull it out unlike my buddy that had a 350 too and its 700 pounds :D

    go yamaha :)

  • haha i do the same thing

my friends sled rolled about 9 times down a hill and when it got to the bottom it landed on its skis and stayed running

  • thats not a crash its a mistake

  • I dont care what you ride, if youre not getting stuck and breaking shit youre NOT REALLY RIDING!

  • good way i got a better way dont get stuck i know its hard not to sometimes though.i think thats better soulution dont u.

  • No windshield for me.. Nice move, but i was a lil nervous for yea cuz it look like it was still runnin and you coulda got scorped if the throttle burped on the flip. other wise.. i say gettem out how you can..

  • or you coulddig the sled out so you wouldnt have to spend any money. ever think of that?

  • Well thats probally not the smartest thing to do if you are in a real hill, and not theese sissy hills:P

  • I am simply amazed at the retarded comments SOME people put on here. Its a stupid friggin sled video, who cares what sled it is, if the windshield fell off, if the snows not deep enough or too deep, if the hills are to steep or flat, WHO frickin cares. and, who cares what sled you ride??? NO ONE..

  • AMEN TO THAT!!!

  • hell ya brother haha

  • LOL that dont fuck up the windshield (notice the correct spelling) it just pops out when stressed and all you gotta do is pop it back in......and that does work great getting a sled unstuck....I do the same thing.

  • Thats a nice sled you got there (besides the windsheild)

  • haha. no shit. lol.

  • cause the newer ones dont flood.

  • how the frick did it not flood ski doo's flood when tiped to the right

i get mine stuck every time i go out my bf gets mad he is gunna buy a lil shovel

  • 2006 or newer doesn't flood. My 2003 MXZ flooded when I tipped it just slightly to the right. Update your sled if you don't want that problem.

  • the vid makes a farting noise at the end

  • thats good maybe its about time they took that big gay windshield off there, because it screams GORBY!!!

  • Thankfully, mine shuts off when it rolls so nobody gets hurt. 07 fx yammy. 4 stroke baby!

  • big steaming pile of ski doo doo

  • she's a skid-dOooh !XD

  • mine floods when it flipps :(

  • hey did dismount (mark) get a new snowmobile he used to ride a that older mxz now its a rev or is he just using someone elses?

  • How do you know Mark? these are rentals at Beaver creek lodge in Northern Utah..

  • ahh iv been watching ur vids for a while now lol almost all of them are of dismount lmao i love how u guys always laugh at him...so is he keeping his old sled anyway?

  • Yeah, Mark is a great subject, we are heading to Utah in February again for more vintage footage, I'm sure. He sold the old 670.

  • ahah alright

  • How old is...old?

  • Its amazing how people just post and never read other comments. The windshield wasn't crooked or broken, it came loose as it was designed and just pops back on.

  • look at that windshield bent to hell...welcome to ski doo

  • ya but i cant do that my ski doo has a big win sheld

  • I would love to ride one of those beast. I have never seen snow like that ...being as I am from south east Texas. Sure looks like fun. Great video

  • If its a 600 it has no carb.

  • ....

  • if it's a 600 SDI it has no carb... 600 HO does

  • fuel injected

  • yeah thats just about how we do it in ak too. its a good idea to turn it off so your sled doesant pin it self.

  • who doesnt do that. i end up doing that ivery time i ride

  • 2 strokes can operate upside down.

  • yeah since they have no oil sumps but the carbs will flood

  • omg people what are all of you argueing about?? SHUT UP!

  • dosent it break the windshield to roll it?

  • its a rev... flip it over jump on and gas it

  • Nice done :)

  • its a ski doo who cares

  • thats not good for the motor to be running upside down, you usually have aproxx. 30 sec. to shut it off before serious engine damage occurs

  • Serious engine damage? WTF? first of all the roll was about 10 seconds, secondly, with the new engine management systems, i doubt any serious engine damage would occur in 30 seconds. Maybe a bit flooded, but most likely not even that..

an old sled might have some problems running upside down as would a 4 stroke sled, but they would most likely just shut down and not run while inverted.

  • Actually it can (I work on sleds, I know about everything about them) yes in a sense you are right but on the inside of the Crankcase there are oil holes that go to your bearings gravity pulls that down along with the Vacuum of the pistons moving, if the bearings have no oil they run dry causing engine lock up. I'd say differ if I didn't know but me and my family own about 15 Snowmobiles and we fix them and we fix other peoples. trust me I do know, we have had it happen before.

  • If you get enough liquids in there it can smash stuff, but i dont think it will do terribal dammage in that amount of time

  • what kind of sled is that

  • ski-doo rev summit

  • but wouldnt that be dangerous if the snomobile rolled over the throtle and the snowmobile track started to go upside down?

  • that hasn't ever happened to me in the deep powder, but I suppose that if it found something more solid, like a chunk of ice, it might start spinning. That is what the rip cord/kill cord is for (if you wear one).

  • what about when your stuck so deep you can't roll it? I've had to pull mine out with straps when only my windshield was poking out of the snow. btw that windshield didn't look in too good of shape after the role.

  • The REV windshields simply pop off when rolled. They have little rubber plugs that hold them in. When too deep, dig. LOL

  • not all of em lol my buddys got a 06 i think 440 fan cooled and he had to buy a new windsheild twice cuz he rolled it my old ass sled on the other had the windsield folds outa teh way

  • exacly. its a 440

  • whats it matter there all revs

  • they have weird windshields

  • does it really matter what or how we ride just as long as we have fun?

  • EXACTLY

  • lol... she still runnin... she's a ski-doo

  • GREAT FORM!!

  • great video! that was funny

  • Yeeaa

  • Nice

  • take your helmet off when you are using a camera

  • uh, why would you say that? Lets see, I had about 15 seconds to stop, yank the camera out of my backpack and start filming, didnt really have time to think about removing my helmet.

  • ROFLMAO!!! that was funny!! TA da!!!

  • its a ski dooo da best

  • Nice Joe

  • Never driven one but definately kill the engine first, he was right in front of it.

  • ok, all you turn iyt off first guys, he never got in front of the sled while rolling it, so even if the throttle had been pushed, it was upside down.

  • dude, what if the snow pushed on the gas. goodbye front of your helmet. lol

  • true that, sometimes you gotta role it, been there, wreckd that, but kill the engine first!

  • what kind of sled?

  • ski-doo adrenilen im guessing

  • summit 800's

  • hey, chippydoggy,akripper907,mcintye48,dunecrazy22,ott42,jrg188,wallrida8,sherer88kb0 and many more, your all grinding on other brands of snowmobiles saying they suck balls, dicks and other things, to be just in grinding like that you would have to ride ALL of them more than once, then you would realize that you're always getting what you paid for, because if you didn't like one you wouldn't buy it. If you wanted to get un stuck realy easy you'd buy a rev, I rest my point.

  • Wow that powder is BEAUTIFUL!

    Whats the location?

  • beaver creek lodge, Utah

  • well if it was a rental he did the right thing be rolling it over

  • Awesome! Lucky roll out!

  • perfect?

look at his windshield look a little crooked

  • im surprised he even had a windshield. nobody has them on their sleds out here as they are gay and are the first thing to break off.

  • read the comments. the windshield are made to come off and pop right back on. which it did.

  • cool, most everybody here just removes them off of their new sleds and sell them on ebay for gas money!

  • Yeah, but these were rentals, so not an option.

  • Nice rentals. Were they 600's? You sure got your moneys worth out of them!

  • 800's

  • Awesome! It's hard to find a rental place here that will offer the 800's. One local outlet rents the 08 rev xp 800 but its about 100 bucks more and they don't offer insurance. You have to carry the insurance or pay cash for the damages.

  • nice fart at 1:48

    lmao!!!

  • Thanks Joe for all the comments. Always remember to ride 'er like you'll never be there again (because you won't). If you don't have something to fix on your sled when you get home after a ride, you didn't really go riding.

  • i had to do this the other night when i got buried next to the underpass of the interstate, takes a good 20 seconds. it is supposed to snow tonight so i am pumped. skidoos suck cats all the way baby
