@ONEINAMILLIONPPL what, at the end? The Civic was killing it... The AE86 did not have nearly enough grip and was way worse over the bumps and gaps and under braking. The civic even had to lift off in multiple places

@Shadowboost The way I saw it, the AE86 maintained the lead and thus, did better. The Civic was staying behind because there was no room for it to pass, and lifted off to prevent a collision.

@ONEINAMILLIONPPL This is not the way they race. Have you watched Hot version touge or the later races in Initial D? It's called tail to nose racing. If the gap is widened, then the car in front wins. If the gap is narrowed, then the car behind wins. If the gap is constant, they run again until the gap changes. This is for safety as an overtake can easily get someone killed.

Man they have more freedom than the ppl in the U.S do.. and one more thing.. These japanese drivers are much better than the U.S drivers at doing this.. @likess I guess for the majority that's true but there is still a decent amount of canyon(touge) runs. I went on one with my brother this november. So not all american such at driving on curves I know my brother could own a lot of people on the canyon since he use to drive it every week when he lived up in the mountains.
