Jackie Stewart and Martin Brundle are really amazing, being able to comment as they drive at full speed. Driving a formula 1 car at full speed requires so much concentration, it's really incredible they're able to commentate at the same time.
Actually, Jackie Stewart was diagnosed with severe dyslexia when he was a boy. That's why he also confuses up and down, when entering Druids. Even with the dyslexia, he is a three-time F1 World Champion and once won the race at the Nürburgring under fog by more than four minutes (half a lap, approximately)
what an ace circuit. i hope it gets used for f1 again at some point. the fia should stage the european grand prix there instead of the soulless nurburgring.

How nice is to see the formel 1 car with a real steering wheel and manual shifter.. Not like present "fully automated computered machines".. :(
dusanholy 11 months ago 6
@dusanholy I totally agree, it adds a different beauty to the machine, makes it more pure

Jackie is awesome.

Amazing!!

Interesting how much hard braking and down-shifting to lower gears he does. In some cars, probably with less power, the circuit seems to flow more.

I always had a special affection for Brands as I went to my first race there; the '71 Race of Champions. A lovely circuit, IMO.

LOL! It was all he could do to gut the commentary out!
erickonphoenix 3 years ago 2
shame he quit tyrrell so early they deserved more as a team, but most drivers from that era stayed in f1 for roughly 8-10 year max.

i live near Brands Hatch and i have to say, its deffo my fav circuit! its fantastic. wish they'd do more events there.
geon106 4 years ago
yhey would have more events there but there are stupid sound restrictions so they can't have any f1 races or anything like it there anymore
