@jock150 Good question. Google "sparrow trap" and you'll find a link to Deluxe Repeating Sparrow Traps. Once on the page on the left side there is a link that reads Why Trap Sparrows? I looked into a way to get them to quit terrorizing the bluebirds trying to nest in my yard but I had no idea just what pests they were until I looked into it more. Unscrew the two screws that hold the perch and flip it around. The platform that the birds land on should be flat with elevator. This way they walk right in and dont have to hop up a level... you'll get more house sparrows that way. Millet works great.
Why catch sparrows at all>?
