  • Oh yeah, this is from Just Visiting starring Christina Applegate!

  • Gaumont's really that old? 116 years old. Wow! It was before the start of the 20th century. It's even older than Paramount Pictures the oldest existing movie movie in the US. Paramount's going be 100 years old next year.

  • @AntiVenom36

Yep, Gaumont is the oldest continously operating film company in the world

  • this reminds me the fifth element when i saw the first there was this logo

  • 1895-2010 = 115

  • 1995

  • this means gaumont in 2010 is 115 years old

  • This ident is taken from the Oggy and the cockraches DVDs.

  • @Mauriceyuanabbykidz I remember see this at the end of numerous Fox Kids Shows, namely Space Goofs.

  • This means Gaumont must be the world's oldest film studio, because Paramount Studios is the oldest Hollywood studio, and it is only ninety-six years old as of 2008.

  • Haven't you heard yet that cinema was invented by the French Lumière brothers? Look for "arrivee d'un train a la Ciotat". This is the first movie *ever* made. It was in 1894.

  • Yes, I did know that the Lumière Brothers invented what is now considered cinema, and that they were French.

  • @Rachegotter Here's to another 100 years, lol

  • Yeah 100 years,I have A Hitchcock movie from The 30's,It was made at Gaumont.

  • I didn't see the number "100" sadly. But at least I know it's from the 100th anniversary.

  • The only numbers you can see are 1895 and 1995. 100 years ;)

  • Ohhh I get it! Thanks!

  • @ShaDeed329 Looks like they forgot to add "100th Anniversary" to the logo!
