This means Gaumont must be the world's oldest film studio, because Paramount Studios is the oldest Hollywood studio, and it is only ninety-six years old as of 2008.
Haven't you heard yet that cinema was invented by the French Lumière brothers? Look for "arrivee d'un train a la Ciotat". This is the first movie *ever* made. It was in 1894.
