@franchescoli1904. I agree. I will be adding a few grow beds using gravel and they will be deeper. It just costs a whole lot more to buy a deep media bed.

Amazing, and easy. but i would go for a deeper grow bed. you have no room for worms and bacteria to develop.

please tell me where i can but that black thing in your hand @ 0:39. i know that its so that the tank wont leak water and that is axactly what i need. I wen to home depot and they didnt have any. where did you buy that one or what is it called?

@Willy0717 It's called a bulkhead fitting and you can pick one up at a professional plumbing supply store.

@easydiyaquaponics a willy ur aquaponics is realy good, i have a question where did u buy those two plasic tubs, the top and bottom, and the red pebels that go on top, please let me know i think its amazing.

@franchescoli1904, I bought the stock tank at my local feed supply store and the grow bed and hydroton (red pebbles) at the hydroponics shop.
