it was, it was the greatest experience i have ever witnessed. everyone just watched her in absolute awe and it was hard to believe how strong her voice is when she sings live. i swear shes a goddess of all things beautiful.

@GamblingTime she performed this song this evening at the royal albert hall, with the royal philharmonic orchestra :D it was the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced! made me cry :'( I managed to meet her after the concert again, and she is the most incredible person ever - its hard to even stand in her presence without going weak at the knees and being unable to speak properly xD hehe lover her!!

awesome vid! i think the reason she isnt as relaxed is that her mind is constantly in motion. she is thinking of the looping for the song, when to do it etc. she is basically making a song as she sings. so, to me, it sounds like she can't get completely relaxed or else she may forget to do something. unless she is totally piano, she looks like she is busy running 400 different calculations in her head and the occaisional to do list for when she gets back home. lol...that's y i luv her so much!

The thing about her live performances... she gets incredibly nervous. It's not that she is any less talented and that her CD is full of vocal editing... she just has hardcore stage fright I think. :)

However, I think the venue is the main problem - not her singing. Lots of ambient noise, and poor acoustics. It's also an amateur video, so that will have an affect on quality...

Anyway, I think Imogen Heap is creative as hell and I genuinely like her music, but I find it really funny to hear people comment about her voice going flat here and there when all she's doing is singing normally, WITHOUT Autotune, which for those of you that aren't familiar, is the Anteres audio processor that gives realtime pitch correction in-a-box and that characteristic digitized Imogen Heap sound people are used to.
