How are you getting rid of the auto roads when zoning larger areas? I can't figure it out and it's really annoying.

@TechHeadMatt Sorry about the late reply. If you hold down the shift key while zoning it will automatically get rid of them for you.

A long long time ago I read a tutorial on Simtropolis called "Making Money the Easy Way" and decided to apply all of what I had learned into a series of Videos. In that tutorial was a specific way that the writer had created the subdivisions and I based my subdivisions off of those.

How come on my sim city 4 deluxe it has less road choices than this guys game. He has atleast 15 and i only have 4 road choices

@bombolicous Its all the NAM. Network Addon Mod. It adds a bunch of features to the game and actually helps with traffic. try downloading it on Simtropolis or SC4 Devotion. Both great sites.

@benitoandfriend Credo che sia le opzioni in grafica visiva o qualcosa di simile che. È possibile regolare quante automobili sono visibili su strade e altre opzioni di visual ci. Inoltre, per le macchine parcheggiate sui marciapiedi, che è un mod che ho scaricato a Simtropolis(dot)com. Provate a digitare nel mod marciapiede e vedere cosa viene in su. Spero che questo aiuti.

@Alfacuria haha, i took time to develop. Racing is my primary sport and it actually takes time and patience to be fast. Suprises a lot of people when i tell them that the fastest cars and drivers usually wait a while before they try and get the lead or up to the front.

how do you keep demand high for high-density industry? you seem to only zone high density and development continues.

@ZBdude149 high density industry zones allows for both medium and high development to buidl there so its a mix of both.

That must be a new policy that they implemented... I have never had to type in a serial number to join simtropolis, so this is all odd to me. Your cd didn't come with a serial number? That is very strange. Did you buy it legitimately or download it?

I have no ideas as far as serial codes...maybe there is a video on youtube with one?

How did u remove the streets that show up on it's own when building houses?

and how do u change where the buildings face?

I'm using Mac but not sure if the commands r different.

I use a pc so it's probably a little different, but SHIFT makes it so there are no streets placed when you zone and ALT makes it so that the zones face different directions. Also, CTRL makes the zones alternate b/w 3x1 or 1x3.

ex: I am placing a zone and it is 3 tiles wide and 1 tile high. I hold ctrl while I zone and now instead of a 1x3 i get a 3x1 even though it may be facing a dif. direction than what I want.

lol. your building style aint superb. my advice is to put up large strips. and thiers a auto street builder so you dont have to do all the work you just did/

Plus I don't mind building everything out by hand, I prefer the end result with the grid that the auto street makes.
