Does it matter either way? Is salvation based upon the actual existence or belief in the existence of Abraham, Isaac or Jacob?

Don't get caught up in the yes they did no they did no exist, that is a side issue that will have meaning, but before that much other work (inner) needs to be done, right now their existence or non-existence is immaterial.
