i have the problem where from my thumb to my ring finger. when i get to my ring finger and i put it down, my pinky goes down with it. i cant seem to find a way to keep it down. HELP PLEASE!
YOOO anybody have this problem is it still effective if i do it this way I can do it going from thumb pointer middle pinky then ring and then the same on the other side wanting to know can i still benefit from doing it that way greatly appreciated god bless
This was really helpful. I'm new to the finger tutting thing (having popped for 8 years wow I can't believe I didn't get into this... but i did, sort of, by expanding the boxes [not tutting, diff base concept] into fingers) and it's all really amazing. It's hard for someone like me who's done the more wrist, elbow, shoulder movements to get into the fingers with such liquidity. This video, however, has given me a great starting point to expand my love for the dance. I thank you.
its amazing how much i learned from this vid everytime i just sit and am bored i practice the steps taught in this vid cept i still am not good yet lol
I seem to have a severe problem isolating my pinky finger. If I move my pinky down, my ring finger goes down simultaneously. If I force my ring finger to stay up, my pinky finger won't move down at all. Am I royally screwed here?
i know exactly wat yur talkin bout, i got tha same problem but im tryna jus practice movin my pinky up n down alone, im slowly gettin better but its hard as hell
a good way ive found to practice isolating the finger is to sit at a desk (like a school or office desk. and put your your 3 fingers under the rim of the desk (index, ring and middle) and push them up into the desk, keeping them tense and straight. then practice curling your pinky. if its still difficult you can use your thumb to pull your pinky to the right position, then practice holding it there. should improve the isolation
Haha. I jammed both of my thumbs a couple weeks ago so this hurts. But I am proud to say that I pretty much got this.
