  • Awesome riff absolutely brilliant

  • It's a "hurried-up" life.

  • shaquille oneal simply put sucks

  • you realize that 311 and SHAQUILLE ONEAL actually redid this song? look up "psycho" by 311, its funny as hell

  • so few great bass solos in most music but this was one of them.

  • @MrPoliticalmuscle ...and the double guitar solo over that , just brilliant.

  • Thunderhead's just another cloud

  • one of the greatest riffs of all time...i wish i had written this...i listened to it every day when i was a kid before, and after school, and my mom left me alone...pretty amazing power of music in the 70s...god bless BTO...changed my life...

  • people really think metallica is better than these true rockers?? you gotta be kiddin' me-a song like this defines hard rock.

  • THE BEST BTO SONG...SUCK IT, METALLICA...

  • BTO really was one of the best power bands, iif you were to draw a comparison, it might be Grand Funk Railroad, though BTO was more accomplished.

  • @mrwibbles1 I like BTO but to say they are more accomplished than grand funk is simply incorrect- have you checked how many hits funk had? sorry it's not close-

  • @gumbyonacid

Yes, you are correct now that I think of it. I believe I had had a few wobbly-pops that evening that impaired my judgement.

This is nowhere near my favourite BTO song, either. It was just a blast from the past for me. G.F.R.R. was just a band I never got too familiar with.

  • @mrwibbles1 no worries bro- its all good- get into grand funk though.......check out the song aimless lady-

  • Causeway, Clearwater to Tampa, in 72, 165 mph. no cops. hemi 70 dart. eat your heart out ! front end was floatin ! L. i didn't care. this song was playing on my casette, L. or maybe 8 track, either way, ya get it. L. awsome song!

  • REAL MUSIC !!!...AMEN.... Keep it simple and play it loud

  • REAL MUSIC !!!!

  • This was second album i ever bought back in mid 70's. Broke it 3 weeks later by accident kinda ironic huh. About 30 years later my mom bought me a cd for my birthday she remembered the name of the band just couldn't remember the name of the album. Kinda scary wonder what else the parents remember

  • @aormc love the story...i believe ya...i bought mine after church...like a drug deal...=^D

  • i love this song.

  • AWESOME!

  • The 1978 Camaro Z28 brought me here.

  • I'm 33 but I long for music like this so much more than what's in the charts. But music is timeless and never goes away. An exceptional friend gave me this album and I had it with me during many travels. Great memories.

  • BTO was one of the best rock and roll bands that came out of the 70's own every album they ever put out

  • As an EX Canadian now living in England, it seems to me that the Canadian bands of their time including BTO were ahaead of their time. Its only now in retrospect that their music is being "hailed" as true rock and roll. Include BTO and Rush as examples

  • @TheRoy1952 I have a shall we say opinion? I have an opinion regarding everything. Rush ahead of their time? Oh please. BTO, oh please. Chrysler was up 31% in August. Go figure as to those who are good at their craft? "Hailed?" Canadians are the nice people, yet a "meat dress" is there? Go figure.

  • @superunt43 i have shall we say an opinion also, why take an American or anyone over 50 seriously for that matter, Americans are nice people also i guess but GM up 3%, Aerosmith broke up, Micheal Jackson murdered, Rick Perry can't debate can't speak, yet a meat dress on Obama. what American was ever ahead of their time, Oh please Micheal Moore i guess, know what one's speaks of Sir, that made about much sense as your comment.

  • @cindyns1 My apologies.

  • @cindyns1 My bad, sorry I apologize for going over your head at light-speed. Over 50, hm American. Yes, Americans stand as "nice"? So you think anyone over 50 has no value, thoughts? Yes I know my comments go over the heads of most, not surprising actually. As to Americans ahead of their time? Hm, Henry Ford, Jeff Bridges, Danica Patrick, me, you if you lived here, Bill Maher, Mike. You do have valid points, Rick Perry? Please?

  • @superunt43 So you take an actor, a race car (nascar) driver and a racist as your point yeah Bill Maher, Mr. Bill i was funny when Bush was in office now i am in lost in HBO Maher, also i stated that your comment made no sense, however, i believe i am correct when i stated that Amercians stole, borrow and bought their way of life, there was no one there ahead of their time, well maybe Rock and ROLL that is about all.

  • @cindyns1 Yes, we stole much, you proceed to a point you should be careful of now. Aware I remain of what Americans, British, humans for that matter have done. Yes my country was stolen, and?

  • @cindyns1 Odd actually you mention Bill? Few I know of here even know of Master Maher? On-going debate these days in my country. Funny you mention Bush? NASCAR fans were ripped & rightfully so over booing First-Lady? My Dad and I carried on lively debate as to respect. I respect the office, Bush disgraced said office, therefore no respect is commanded?

  • @TheRoy1952 I totally agree with your opinion, but Ex Canadian? You could have just said your a Canadian living in England. If your born in Canada you'll always be Canadian. My intention is not to offend but to find out why EX Canadian.

    Thanks

  • @TheRoy1952 There is a young 1 out here among us who bothered to send this old video, song whatever the girl bothers to call this regarding Canadians. Ahead of their time? Really? Canadians stand as I speak the very definition of rock. I defy a living male regardless of country to listen to "New world man" not shed a tear, think as to? Problem with his poisons, but you know we'll find a cure, me old white US guy, and?

  • In 1975 I saw BTO! Styx was the backup band. Good-times. BTO is definitely the most under appreciated band of the 70s

  • when rock weas at its best, great video thank you, had the pleasure of seeing them in the early 80's twice when they reunited.

  • awesome..././;'/

  • or just grow a beard

  • and he had a lesson from les paul according to wikopedia

  • Classic song! Years ago 79/80, three of us High School friends shared a house and had a Coast Guard buddy stay a couple weeks on leave!

And every morning at 6am the Coast Guard buddy cranked up "Not Fragile" full blast waking everyone up, and probably the neighbors. Then he would crack open a beer and we'd start partying. Will never forget that time, I also had this album on 8 Track and wore it out too.

  • So fucking good, and from one of the best albums ever..

  • this song is fuckin heavvvyyyyyy, cant wait to make a skateboarding video to this, fuckin favorite song by BTO

  • IMHO this is the best BTO song. It should have been on their greatest hits album.

  • One of the best BTO song.

  • well are thunderheads just another cloud...

  • Bachman, Apple-Turnover, Drive.

  • my first rock concert, 1975 at the nassau coliseum n.y. and it still sounds excellent after 35 yrs.

  • 9 Peoples are fragile !

  • hey Randy what ever happened to the Agradome?

  • When they talk about the "big, loud, overweight Canadian rock" of the 1970s, this is the band they're really talking about!

  • Definition of Hard Rock: go to "Not Fragile" by BTO.

  • coolest riff ever

  • inspired me to pick up a guitar

  • 9 people don't have overdrive.

  • Im a little older than some of yall. I know who they were before changing some band members and changing thier name.

  • @twopennynicguylookin yea some do but this is "no time" to let the cat out of the bag

  • Oh yaa I remember listening to this LOUD!

  • Robbie plays drums like Ringo - solid and simple

  • Want HEAVY? You got it in spades right here!!!!!!!!

  • I'm sure my parents and neighbors got tired of hearing this song!

  • @ethelmurmur ...a clear case of a Bachmann-Turner Overdose.

  • @svmoser46 ...of the gitars and ...

  • 9 people didn't have a father figure in their lives.

  • @kfehrnstrom LOL, i took this from my dads cd collection and i thought the songs sledgehammer and blue moanin were so badass

  • This is the type of song that makes a boy want to grow up to be a real man.

  • @211bill

Can i steal that??!! My boy, 20 i march, will be a man soon!! A baseline from -70. Thank you.

  • My favourite number from Stomach-Turner Overweight (well, that's what Wayne & Shuster called them!). Great number from a great album by a great group. Definitely NOT FRAGILE.

  • THIS SONG IS A MASTERPIECE OF CANADIAN HARD ROCK, ONE OF BTO´s BEST, IF NOT THE BEST. GROOVY DRUM RYTHM, GREAT BASS AND LEAD GUITAR RIFFS.

  • we wore out at least two 8 track tapes of this album smokin joints and drinking beers and most of us are still alive

  • @dragonflychainsaw That's not fragile :D

  • @dragonflychainsaw 10-4 man. What the hell went wrong that we now don't have this powerful, healing "medicine"?

  • @dragonflychainsaw Amen Bro. BTO made some of the greatest 'driving music' of all time. It reminds me so much, of rollin joints, while rolling down the road in a buddy's pick up truck or van, stopping by the side of the road, to drink some beers, flop the doors open and turn up the stereo. Sadly, some of those guys are no longer with us. I guess the rest of us, were, Not Fragile. Somehow, we made it through. This record was seriously one of the many soundtracks, of a Rocker's life in the 70s

  • @dragonflychainsaw "and most of us are still alive" Couldn't have said it better myself !

    Uncle "Cidney" :)

  • @dragonflychainsaw my dad still got his 8 track player with this tape in it :)
