awesome run! I havent competively barrel raced in forever....I havent had a good enough mount, all my horses are jumpers, lol but your horse reminds me so much of my old guy Fox, he was just a light bay, but awesome run!:)

yeah dude I took it off the t.v. because I don't have a digital video camera, only a digital photo camera that allows so many seconds of videos. I have a few videos on here and obviously its me riding my barrel horse Jim-Shrimp that I trained--the place is called Eagleview Equestrian Centre.

Did you ever let go of the saddle horn??

Just an observation here...but that is a big horse and his action is high but when he stretches out the saddle drops out from underneath you. So the horn helps you get back in touch with the saddle. The horn isn't so much for balance. At least that is how it was with my good horse, Jim's Moon who was a great grandson of Easy Jet. Soooo fast!

Actually, although he can get low sometimes he is always driving hard from behind--just what you want in a barrel horse. I find him very smooth to ride because he's not only free moving but quick in the turns. He's probably my fav. to ride outta all my barrel horses :)
