What happend to the day when Republicans had liberals in them, like Rockefeller Republicans. The party has really changed since Lincoln's liberalism and Teddy Roosevelt's progressive ideas. Now they are simply the do-nothing, deregulate everything, no tax, war mongering (Dems do this too), intellectually deficient, teabaggers who claim to know the constitution but seem completely incapable of understanding thr circumstances surrounding it. If Obama was a Socialist than why are LIBERALS so mad at him for ditching the public option. I don't get this at all, we've had moderate or conservative presidents since LBJ, and when a liberal comes to power and governs as a moderate, conservatives rail on him for being a socialist fascist commi. By the way, drilling of the coast of the U.S. is illegal for all nations, as it's recognized as an international law, and by the way, Sen. The germans have the Volkswagen 1L, which gets 317 miles per gallon. We should license it and sell it here. 317 will get many people though a week or two for 1 ga. of diesel.
